I also haven't seen a development team so dedicated to making a game feel and play properly, those patch notes are insane lol. R. Sudah Different games suit different people, see the outrage with cyberpunks FPP gameplay for example. I liked KCD though I never finished it. Though once more of the DLC come out I think I'll happily install again and replay it hopefully to completion of the main story and the DLCs at least.

We need CROSSBOWS! Germany and Bohemia were both big crossbow nations. Also, I like the hardcore variation of selling bandit loot for less; minted money wasn’t as common back then as D&D would have you believe. Most big transactions were done with notarized paper bank-notes (hence why we call modern paper money bank notes).

Also guns, small arms and cannons have been a big part of European warfare for 70 years as of KCD.

I wouldn't say firearms were a "big part" of warfare, they were just starting to exist. They weren't even that effective, their accuracy was horrible and weren't really good at going through armor, plus it took ages to reload them, I doubt the game needs them.

And even then by the 1550s you practically didn't see any other missile weapon on the field but guns. They were reportedly more accurate than bows or crossbows (at least in common combat ranges), pretty much ignored light cover and dealt with people in lighter gear more efficiently. The only thing that really changed (apart from a few oddities) is the armour penetration in a carriable package. However, few oddities: First rifled gun ca. 1480 First breech loader handgun ca. 1470 First breech loading cannon ca. 1370 First cartridges (non-disposable iron cartridge) ca. 1360 First multi-shot guns with one barrel ca. 1490 First multi-shot gun, multiple barrels ca. 1330 However breech loading becoming common, Crimean War 1853-1856, rifling becoming common 1860-1870. The two things that improved accuracy and rate of fire took a good 400-500 years to come to fruition.

Dear Warhorse Team. I have a few questions. 1. How much will the DLC cost (if it was mentioned in the video I am sorry, my english is not so good = D) 2. At what point in the game will the DLC be 'activated'? Right after the battle for Pribislawitz? 3. Will the DLC be on the Playstation 4? Der SchnittProphet Hi, they didnt mention the price in video or anywhere else yet. But in other comments, they say it should be cheap. The Quest should start awhile after the battle, and from what i heard you wont have to start new game, it should work with current save. For PS4 i dont know, i am PC gamer. I love that they are adding this settlement building system, will also help as a bit of a gold sink so that you don't feel so loaded with gold (groschen) by the end of the game with nothing to spend it on.

The game for me is beautiful , but what is far more important is to optimize the game , reduce texture popping mostly on HDDs(because even mod won't remove the texture poppings/problems) make the game far more better in terms of performance because those do really affect the immersion and experience of the player towards to the game , smoother and better optimized games = more players that will buy and play the game

Only bought this game about 2 weeks ago on PS4, utterly in love, genuinely challenging, rewarding, a combat system that seems hard at first but quickly becomes intuitive (and much better than the standard "my sword has X damage so I win"). Very impressed so far and can't wait to lose endless hours of my life playing it!

It would be great to be able to activate some features individually, for example not showing your position on the map would be a great feature in general, not just hardcore mode. Maby it could be an option in the settings menu. Or you could be able to choose which features of hardcore mode you want to activate and which you want to keep normal, for example the deactivation of autosaving isnt so great for me because my pc likes to crash a lot, so I can't always save before that.

Im happy to see nee content in the works, the road map is reassuring as well. I just find that a lot of this stuff coming out lacks a “big picture”. Im all for making this village great again, but to what end? The story ending to the game as it stands right now leaves me wanting yet all I know for sure that is coming is some village building. I really love the story and I understand warhorse isn’t a video game giant, I just want this universe and title to be used to its best potential.

Great game, love the hardcore addition. Please add more small jobs with randomly generated missions in towns. More of like when you worked with the town watch. Maybe bounty hunter quest. Bandit quest where you can work with them or outright join them.

The save on quit is bugged guys. That save is not deleted when we get back. We cant manually load it, but we can load it when we die. So we can just do a save/quit. Load that game, try to steal/kill and whatever we want and suicide ourself to load back our game

Would you get money of the village? Some sort of tax that the residents need to pay if they live in your village. And perhaps they would also leave if the taxes are to high.

Playing hardcore mode first time I play this game. I did not ask for it, This is a must. Hardcore gaming is the base of gaming. I have set 3 negative perks. U had to remove the HUD... we will via console anyway... Good luck.

I just played through Witcher 3 for the first time and was somewhat underwhelmed with it's game mechanics compared to kcd although I still LOVED the Witcher, kcd had me so depressed when I finished the game I played through it again and am half way through a third playthrough. But now I will get to do the hardcore mode which will make it even more immersive. I'm so glad they are supporting the game with new content and I cannot wait for the sequel! Keep up the good work guys!

Please fix the performance issues. I get texture pop ins literally every minute and huge FPS because the game hasn't bothered to load in something near by and tries to do it all at once. It's VERY frustrating.

The hardcore mode sounds intresting. But I think it would be better to could see Henry on the map, and completely remove the compass instead. That would be more realistic and immersive. Looking forward to the 'from the ashes' DLC though.
