It's the same case here, still his Wario is more noticably different. He still sounds like Wario, not some gruff sounding gangster. He's already better at it, his performance here was great and he doesn't need to get better at something he's already doing a good job on.

I think Kevin is really missing that sorta natural raspiness in Wario’s voice. It either sounds like it’s not really there or he’s trying to add it but not sounding right. I get wanting to have consistency like with Charles doing all of the Bros. but I think giving Wario a voice actor that’s able to add better rasp into his voice (and honestly just a better impression in general) would’ve been a better choice. But with how Nintendo is this decision was probably also fueled by also not needing to pay more people.

It's because he's younger. Kevin is 27, Charles is 68. Charles was already 40 by the time he voiced Wario.

@@LopezXiann14 He's not missing anything in Wario's voice. That raspiness is all there, doesn't sound like it isn't or he's trying to add it but it doesn't work like can you hear well? He captures the same rasp and gruffness as Martinet, he's just giving Wario a bit of a different take. It fits the character, so mission accomplished. That's what matters not sounding one to one with Martinet. There isn't any VA that can give him a better rasp outside of Kevin and Charles, nor can anyone do a better impression. Why do you think Nintendo chose him to voice Wario too? Stop trying to blame everything on money, Nintendo's rolling in it if they wanted to get another VA for Wario they would've. But Kevin fits the bill and that's that, deal with it.
