We know sonic and shadow have been rivals since the beginning because of their similarities in looks and powers. sonic shadow has many abilities such as chaos control and he might even be in the next sonic the hedgehog movie . This rap battle is a spiritual sequel to super mario vs sonic the hedgehog video game rap battle and tails vs luigi video game rap battlea and bowser vs dr eggman video game rap battle.
ABOUT THE CHARACTERS:
Wario is a fictional character in Nintendo's Mario series, designed as an arch-rival to Mario. He first appeared in the game Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins as the main antagonist . His name is a portmanteau of Mario's name and the Japanese word warui, meaning bad. Wario was designed by Hiroji Kiyotake, and is voiced by Charles Martinet, who voices many other characters in the series, such as mario luigi and waluigi.
wario has become the protagonist and antihero of the wario land and warioware series, spanning handheld and console markets. In addition to appearances in spin-offs in the Mario series, he appears in cameos for Kirby Super Star Ultra, Densetsu no Stafy 3 and Pilotwings 64. He has also been featured in other media such as the Super Mario Adventures graphic novel. The character has received a largely positive critical reception.
shadow the hedgehog is a character appearing in Sega's sonic the hedgehog video game franchise. shadow was created by Takashi Iizuka and Shiro Maekawa, and debuted in Sonic Adventure 2. Shadow has since featured in numerous entries in the franchise, including a self-titled spin-off game in 2005. He also appears in Sonic television adaptations, comics, and merchandise.
Shadow is an immortal, anthropomorphic black hedgehog created by Professor Gerald robotnik the grandfather of series antagonist Doctor Eggman. After witnessing the murder of his best friend maria shadow vows to keep his promise to her that he would protect the world from danger. As an antihero, Shadow has good intentions but will do whatever it takes to accomplish his goals, putting him at odds with series protagonist Sonic the Hedgehog. Shadow shares many attributes with Sonic and thus controls similarly in games, but is distinguished by his uses of vehicles and firearms.

I don't get y'all. Shadow had the flow but this is a *RAP BATTLE.* To point is to also throw punches, throw dirt at the foe. Shadow's verses had the flow and yet no real heavy punches. It's like trying to hit a Wall with a Pillow, while yes you swiftly swinging at the wall... *It ain't gonna make the wall crumble* Wario was dealing out some of the heaviest punches I ever seen. It's like he pulled up with an RPG Launcher against the same Wall. Not only did he roast Shadow and his fanbase, he got on Maria's case and expose Shadow's way of rapping *"It's all Speed and no Content"* because that is what Shadow's whole entire 2 verses were. Just realized that Shadow's line about Wario not being a main character absolutely falls flat on its face - Shadow has one game. Wario has TWO successful franchises. Also, Shadow only successfully attacks Wario twice in his whole rap. Wario mercilessly runs Shadow over with practically every bar except a couple flavour bits. “All speed and no content” is 100% accurate in a way that Shadow never even bothered to try to recover from.

I gotta give this one to Wario. Shadow had a beastly flow and using alliterations throughout his verses, but they were basically empty verses. Wario was swinging as soon as he started.

This is probably the best battle I've seen ever. Really even match-up, really high production value (the animation is top tier), insane beat, both rappers have a top tier flow and really good lines/disses all around. Shadow came closer to winning with the last verse but Wario's first verse was SAVAGE. Really good job guys, I didn't think I'd see anything close to Mario v Sonic but this is chef's kiss.
