Wario lives in his castle on Kitchen Island and Captain Syrup is his enemy. Base it of the Wario Land series and not the WarioWare series. The island is almost completely devoid of mushroom kingdom species and rather mostly populated by anthropromorpic animals.

For me, the RPG would have been titled Wario and his friends. With this title I would represent the warioware characters because in that game wario has his friends, in the RPG they should appear with the warioware characters, for example in this video that I am watching. Penny crygor appears 0:19

I’ve been saying this for YEARS (and I know AlphaDream or whatever they were called are the running anymore) but we NEED Mario and Luigi: Imposter Syndrome. And all it should be like is something similar to Mario + Luigi: Partners in time. But in this you can swap who play as in the overworld. Sometimes you’ll need Mario and Wario, other times Luigi and Waluigi and whatever other combinations.

Waluigi doesn't exist. He was literally "created" to replace the original Wapeach partner for Wario in Mario Tennis, which is dumb because they could have used Captain Syrup instead. As for a M&L+Wario, I'd say it would have the following: Wario would be dragged in the incident against his own will (maybe his spelunking went wrong, freed an ancient evil which now threatens everything), he would be about to leave until the Bros would tell him that the Princess would reward him handsomely. He would still hesitate for a moment, before Toadsworth would step up and speak of a sum tempting enough. Once motivated, he'd flex and pose in agreement. General Mechanic: Wario's health is coins, in the sense that he is paid upfront a large sum ("Consultation Fee") in order for him to cooperate in the fight. The sum can be decided in two ways: Automatically (instead of Max HP his stat is Greed. Each battle's end he is paid enough winnings to sate his Greed. The Greed is based on the sum of all stats divided by two and rounded up) and Manually (You have to pay him up through the Stats screen, but you can go OVER his Greed here!) Highest stats are POW and DEF, with Luck (Grin) being his lowest (shopkeepers would go "Who is this scary man following the legendary Bros.?!" at first) Battle Mechanic: If Wario's coin counts reaches zero in a battle, he'll frown, walk to the sidelines, and slouch to pick his nose. Pressing his action button will cause him to prompt for money, to which the Bros could oblige and he would rejoin the battle. Or tempt him with a Big Gold Coin, allowing him to rejoin with 50 Coins. His Battle Actions would be: Tackle: Shoulder Tackles an enemy. Light enemies can be knocked back into other enemies behind it for bonus damage. Ground Pound: Wario takes aim, jump and uses his mighty hips to either crush an enemy (watch out for hazards like spikes or fire) or cause an area shockwave that can flip some enemies and may stun others. Shake It!: Grab an enemy and shake the money outta them, before aiming and throwing them at one another. Big enemies can't be thrown. The collected coins goes first for Wario (until his Greed is sated), later for Mario & Luigi. Starting Team Moves (involving Mario & Luigi): Totem Shaker: The three jumps together and you have to press the buttons corresponding to Wario, Mario and Luigi in order to have them ground pound each other and land on a single enemy, causing a shockwave to hit all others. Messing the order greatly reduces the damage. Wario's Bowling: Wario squeezes Mario into a ball and Luigi assumes a bowling pin pose between Wario and the target enemy. Wario has to time the aim and throw power. Miss the aim and he hits the wrong enemy, leaving Luigi disappointed. Miss the power and Luigi will fly far from the enemy and not nail a bonus hit. Miss both and Wario falls over, throwing Mario Ball onto Luigi (who can bounce it off or get hurt if mistimed), and then Mario can cannonball on the enemy
