WarioWare D.I.Y. Showcase - My Microgames (Set 1)

hopefully this makes up for all the disastrous microgames i made back in 2010 lmao
All these microgames were worked on between 2019 and now, at varying times with little consistency, and were made in the Japanese version because I can get a lot more microgame storage space if I have a save file in three separate versions of the game (JP/US/EU)
Game #1: シルエット (Silhouette)
Made 2nd October 2021
Simple game where you shoo away people's hands from in front of a projector screen. Two variations of hand can appear for both hands that show up.
Game #2: ちょうかんず (Bird's-Eye View)
Made 23rd October 2020
A game from a top-down perspective where you pick the one stickman from the crowd whose walk cycle is faster than the others, and knock them down (the intent being that they're actually a thief who is acting more nervous than usual).
Game #3: マックス・ガード (Max Guard)
Made 23rd March 2022
A game where you stop massive rockets from hitting children, under the guise of "Max Guard", a generic superhero. This was made a test to see if I could do one of those "background completely changes" games that I've seen elsewhere.
Game #4: ポケットモンスター (Pocket Monster)
Made 10th May 2020
Based on the 1997 unlicensed NES game of the same name. You have to strike with Pikachu's lightning attack when the enemies get close to you, which is not game-accurate (in the original game the lightning attack wipes out every enemy on screen regardless of range), but there needed to be some element of "challenge". Apologies about the gigantic "attacking" sprite, I had no idea what I was doing.
Game #5: ボイスチャット (Voice Chat)
Made 4th October 2022
This game was made while I was in a voice chat on Discord (inspired by someone who I will not name...). The first user's name is "Shinji", the second user's name is "Poo Poo Farts McGee" (which was someone else's idea), and the offending user is named "Annoying Boy".
Game #6: ナックルズミーム (Knuckles Meme)
Made 14th May 2020
The "Knuckles Approving Memes" Meme was trending at the time, so I figured I'd make a game about it. You have to stamp all five memes to win, so if you miss one, you've already lost, something I should've really reworked.
Game #7: アヒルのきせつ (Duck Season)
Made 30th November 2019
The first one I made for this batch, based on the 1951 Looney Tunes cartoon Rabbit Fire. You have to make sure "Duck Season" is what's displayed on the poster by the end of the game.
Game #8: FNAF
Made 13th May 2020
Based on the "Give Gifts, Give Life" minigame from Five Nights at Freddy's 2. Self-explanatory - just click on the dead kids to give them life and make the Puppet happy.
Game #9: しわけシスターズ (Sorting Sisters)
Made 30th September 2021
A demake of the microgame "Sort It Out" (which is known as "Sorting Sisters" in Japanese) from WarioWare: Get it Together, which had just recently released at the time of me making this microgame. Unfortunately, it's an extremely simple demake, with the pattern being the same every single time. Both the donut/cake and the two types of horses can appear.
Game #10: スマブラSP (Smash Ultimate)
Made 12th May 2020
A game where you make a stickman catch a flying invitation to Smash Bros, with the message at the end saying "スティックマン 参戦" (Stickman Joins the Battle).
Game #11: USSR
Made 18th May 2020
Comes across in poor taste these days, but at the time it was just a silly little USSR-themed game. The text at the end says "Пролетарии всех стран соединяйтесь!" (Workers of the world, unite!)
Game #12: リワイヤード (Rewired)
Made 23rd May 2020
A game based on the development of Pokémon FireRed Rewired, a mod for Pokémon FireRed I've made. Fun fact: I made this microgame before actually implementing Aranyax into the mod - and I ended up reusing its sprite from the microgame as its menu sprite in the mod.
Game #13: ワシュモアさん (Mount Wah-shmore)

Silly game about replacing the heads on Mount Rushmore with Wario heads. It kinda feels like a game Wario would make himself.
Game #14: バイナリィランド (Binary Land)
Made 20th August 2020
Based on the 1985 Famicom game of the same name. Just remove the obstacles to help Gurin and Malon reach each other.
Game #15: ファミリーガイ (Family Guy)
Made 5th October 2020
Set up a cutaway gag with Peter Griffin! (a.k.a. me testing randomly-chosen graphics). The sentence can be: "Wow. This is (better/worse) than that time I (slept/partied/golfed/ate) with (Beyoncé/Jay Leno/Bruce Willis/The B-52's)".
Game #16: ブラープル (Blurple)

My entry for a "Blurple" contest on Discord which actually ended up joint-winning. The stickman can be either light blue or dark blue.
Game #17: ウーズ (Ooze)
Made 1st June 2023
My first crack at a boss game, based on the Action 52 game of the same name. You have to defeat all three blobs to win.
Game #18: AVGN
Made 30th May 2020
Based on the "feud" AVGN had with the Nostalgia Critic. His pupils are meant to shrink when you win, but that detail didn't get ported over when I injected the microgame into D.I.Y. Showcase...
