I was wondering too how they would adapt Warioware for the Switch, as it uses less motion controls than the Wii, and is less touchscreen friendly than 3DS and WiiU...and the idea of directly controlling the cast of characters is perfect. I love the creativity of this series, although it can be a bit wacky at times. I suppose they could have done more with motion controls, IR camera, rumble, but doing multiplayer and multiple characters is a good call. WarioWare has always been about the gimmicks, but this one may be more approachable and "party" than the past titles. Excited to play this one.

I think the concern was regarding Lite users and the general consensus that games primarily focused on motion controls (after the Wii era, and excluding VR, of course) don't exactly have mass appeal. Then again, WarioWare was always niche. But yeah, they could have included a separate mode utilizing the Joy-Cons' capabilities to the fullest. Seems like a missed opportunity.
