Interesting note on the opening: I'm almost certain "you and 20 people" is a translation error, in japanese he just says 20 people can go on the trip, which makes more sense as all together including wario there are only 20 people. Also, in the japanese version wario seems perfectly fine with bringing everyone on the trip, if not excited about it. Odd that he's more annoyed by it in English. I kind of like seeing more of wario's friendlier side.

It’s an Infrared Camera. It’s only called “gesture window” in the game because Joy-Cons are “form stones” lol. Nintendo Labo is one of the few games that uses it heavily. For example - The Nintendo Labo Piano reads stickers on the back of each Piano Key to know what key you’re pressing. Note that only the red Joy-Con has an IR Sensor. Ring Fit Adventure uses it to check ur heart rate. Brain Age also uses the IR Camera to check for Hand Gestures. It’s a pretty cool underrated feature.

So much of the game looks fun, but many of the microgames seem to be missing some of the spiciness the Smooth Moves games did. It's like they're only doing an imitation sometimes. I cant quite put my finger on why. These games are weird, and full of energy, and definitely creative. But something is missing. EDIT: I think I figured out what it is. Smooth moves had a LOT more unique drawn art. Move It has many more CG models and 2d animation. Both look good, but you can't beat the style Smooth Moves had.

exact thing I was thinking. The games before Gold (or maybe even Game and Wario) had more varied styles and felt sifferent from each other, these feel like they are apart of the same game (which funnily enough is a bad thing for this series). It's like NSMB era mario where everything followed the status quo.

@@babykoops6465 Excellent observation, I completely agree! I think the games are still very creative, but they feel less artistic and expressive. Nintendo seems afraid to do anything fresh with their 1st party games (something as different as Luigi's Mansion could never happen today), and would rather double down on what works.

I think this game is pretty good from what I’ve seen. What I think is a crime is how bad they made Ashley’s character in the last few. Like she doesn’t have a good storyline in this game (not that it’s the main focus but it’s worth noting) and her whole thing of being a witch and stuff is still there, but like, not nearly as good as it used too be compared to Smooth Moves and Touch It. Probably the worst designed character in this game, she just needs some help. Everyone else tho, fairly impressive and I’m waiting for LuLu Microgames 😍
