Like the invocate/everlasting aff combo. I hadn’t heard anyone mention that before. It is like demonic grace and dance of the wicked and demonic tactics all together, you stack a ton of crit and become almost unhittable for a few seconds and then most of it carries over for another 15 seconds with DoTW.

5/5 suppression allows you to tag more mobs at once, curses suffer from a diminishing hit % based on the AMOUNT of mobs tagged, not just how many levels higher they are than you go tag 5+ mobs with curses and watch how all you dots start missing on the last mob if you don't have 5/5 suppression CoA does 65dmg every 2 sec + talent 6% = 4 dmg per tick extra @lvl 48 + a tiny bit extra from spell power 1 GCD extra from spell miss or 1.5 sec = 49dmg missed if you did COA or worse if another spell + wasted mana

Going back to this video in phase 3 and still works and is EVEN BETTER now with critting dots. thanks for the help! the only thing i would say is that Dark Pact doesnt really help when meta life tap gives you so much more mana than that so its best not to use that talent

Good video! I'd take Shadow and flame on the belt, when you use the shadow cleave, it procs often, big dps increase.

Running meta in Gnomer as full affliction, but 3 into improved imp because i love the stamina and fire shield damage increase ;)

How have you felt about snap threat on trash pulls as aff in raids?

@winkyhc running demonic pact and demonic knowledge my fire sp is 250 buffed and my shadow is about 200 buffed, Searing pains still crit for 350 and shadow cleave gives lots of threat, invocation is great for keeping the threat too. But I always corruption three mobs then shadow cleave and just searing pain / drain life if there are stragglers

Have you tried this to solo farm dungeons? Open world seems straightforward enough but finding a good juggle spot in a dungeon seems like it'd work out pretty well (but I also don't know very much about warlocks lmao)

I solo SM without any pathing tricks. (improved) Curse of Weakness and Curse of Tongues are essential for their respective mobs. Myrmidon's and Monks are scary as F, CC with seduction as necessary. Required Consumes: Troll's Blood Potion, Wizard Oil, Scroll of Protection, Gnomer Buff. More is always better (spell power increases your life drain and sustain) Arm and Cath can get scary at times, you'll be riding a razor's edge on your sustain keeping up, cloth gear with +armor goes a long way

What are the best places to farm for leveling? I think they should be different by 3-4 lvl range, so you wont get any resists...

this might warrant another video entirely, but you can really aoe pull just about anything while leveling for quests. I personally used it to blast quests out really fast and when i found an exceptional grind spot such as the farms in northern arathi / dustwallow murlocs / desolace centaurs etc i would stop and grind for a few episodes of whichever show i was watching at the time haha

Man SOD is really a nerfed game compared to old vanilla, i remember doing this on my warlock as affliction but really had to be full deep affli tree to get all possible heal from drain life and siphon life T_T

Just got to 30 with R3 drain life and it appears its bugged to not act like R2. It requires standing still to start...this sucks. And....it doesnt show its CD...wtf Scrap that....if you reapply the Master Channeler rune AFTER you get R3 it works.

at 26, if youre horde you can grind the miners in the south west mine of hillsbrad. if youre alliance id recommend wetlands gnolls, or duskwood worgen, depending on how strong you feel

I need to make a video on this, but any melee focused area with few spellcasters. I would recommend following any of the mage aoe leveling locations as they are generally free of casters and give good level ranges. Personally i get bored of aoe leveling so i like to just giga pull quest mobs in the respective zones haha

I tested shadowcleave, It's not working with invocation. Edit: Just re-logged, Re slotted my runes, Everlasting affliction and Invocation indeed do not work together. Feels like a bug.

I asked the question in the official Warlock discord, and they said the "application" of shadowcleave/searing pain is different than actually refreshing the dot... But still doesn't really make sense to me to not work that way. It's in no way overpowered to make it function that way... QOL if anything. @c

Right now im running off a full meta / tank BIS list, i have maybe 2-3 items from gnomer. just try to balance stam and spellpower as best you can. im pretty sure you can do a lot of the leveling portions of this build completely naked and with demon armor youd be fine. for aoe farming i run succubus with lash of pain off of auto use, this is because she has the highest melee dps of the pets and you can tap her mana if youd desperately need it when drain life resists or something

id say it depends on what youre grinding, currently im aoe farming mageweave with it on ogres in feralas for 3g per stack of mageweave + some 1g vendorables. I've also started to learn solo SM Cath with this build which seems to be very good for money as well

i should make a video just on this, but for the most part i aoe pulled every quest that i could and when i found a good spot with fast spawns and minimal caster mobs i grinded there for a bit. arathi farms / dustwallow murlocs / desolace centaurs come to mind first

You do not need more than 2 points in suppression ...ever. Nightfall is one of the best talents in that entire tree and dark pact is a pile of shit. Wasting a global for less mana than a lifetap is pointless, You're already using meta (increased return on lifetap) and take 2/2 imp life tap, you have 0 reason to ever push dark pact.

You understand that in SoD you do not need as much hit as classic correct? So no, you do not need more that 2 points into it. To expand, since you're clueless, SoD hit requirement for casters is 5%...for raiding. You're not aoe pulling things multiple levels above you as it's not efficient, meaning , 4% or 2 points invested is WAY more than enough. 10% hit is massive overkill. Nightfall IS one of the best talents in that tree, if you're making a full affliction spec and not taking that you're a moron. The only difference for his "aoe farming build" and a standard affliction spec is that he uses meta lol. Does it help IN meta, no, but you're not always aoe farming now are you? There is nothing special about his spec other than misplaced talent points. The only thing that makes it do anything different is a rune, and at that rate you can still pull 4-5 mobs safely without it if you're not in garbage gear. So I would say it's you who is under educated on the class and the game if you can't recognize any of that. @@Ksantor1337

Check some base math :) About Nightfall - if you want to make some wellrounded “jack of all trades” build you can pick any talents you want - nobody will stop you, I probably will take nightfall just to have it for some Hount action, but here we discussing speed leveling/AoE farming build with meta where Nightfall just doesnt work, and your comment just can’t confuse people who are new to warlock, because Nightfalll LITERALLY doesn’t work in Meta. Some1 probably just will do this build to level up these way to 40 and respec to PvE destro and will never ever use nightfall.
