I finally decided to watch the movie, after playing this game from my childhood, it's soo bizarre how it resembles hardly anything from the game XD Like the game is all medieval settings, with dungeons, caves, wizards and castles, and the movie is like modern day, driving through California. The protagonist looks nothing like the game's protag, the only resemblance is the scary white-haired wizard looking for the runes, and the end boss. Idk, it was a corny but fun horror movie. I think I'll stick with the game though.

I think the developers combined plot elements from the first two movies. At first I didn't think it made sense either since the character in this game looks nothing like the character in the second film. But it seems the character is based off the protagonist in the first film and also using the time travel thing and then the runestones from the second.

The soundtrack is cool, but it sounds like listening to a MIDI file with Microsoft Wavetable Synth.
