I've wondered if going mid-warlock + atos first item would be good the upheaval slow is maxed after 4 seconds and atos is 2 -.4 and lets say another .4 for the difference between casting range of atos and upheaval you'll get the first 1.2 seconds of upheaval off before they can do anything. plus gives you a good ability to lock people down and gank

I have tried this. The issue is with going atos is that it shows your position on cast which usually leads to people just diving/stunning completely making your upheaval useless. Glep can make it a bit more worth. Ult, glep their team, then go invis. Something I found really useful is using amulet and not upgrading it to glimmer, 14 second invis sitting in place while casting 15 second upheaval is overpowered. Combine it with aether, and lvl 10 upheaval radius, its nearly impossible for the enemies to find you.
