Nice overview. I have lots of the metal Warlord Arthur minis, Wargames Atlantic late Romans, and other such minis that I use for the Osprey Dux Bellorum rules. This might be helpful to add to that mix.

Great run through, do you have the Shieldwall supplement as well and maybe could do a run through as that and how they do or don't compliment each other.
