Great video! The kit should come with a miniature ark of the covenant crate though lol

For me I actually think Warlord really does come ahead of Rubicon for this kit. While both are great that inclusion of passengers is a huge plus. Even if not used they are still a useful thing to have.

Possibly the difference is that Warlord's model, being a gaming piece rather than a display model, is closer to 28mm "heroic" scale, while the other is closer to 1/56 "truescale". Gaming miniatures tend to be all over the place with scale, even if they are supposed to be a certain scale. Games Workshop is notorious for this.

Do you enjoy the SK kits?

I have built both models, really like passengers of the Bolt Action and like the details and roof rack on the Rubicon model.

Has anyone used this in Bolt Action? I am curious in how it helps in the game. Adds mobility to troops? How does it compare to other trucks?

This comment is a bit old, but I hope this still helps. The main difference between this and other trucks is what it's able to tow. The Opel Blitz and other similar trucks can only tow up to medium AT guns (so up to a PaK 38), while the Maultier can tow heavy AT guns (up to a PaK 40). Other than that, they're practically identical in terms of troop transportation.

Won't it be much harder to paint the interior of the cab with doors glued on? Anyway: Great video offering a good view on the kit.

It would be if you wanted to paint them in any detail... Spraying black primer in there should be simple enough, and that's about all I intend to do.

So the different dimensions made me curious, who is closer to the real blitz? Rubicon does the Sd.Kfz. 305, the Opel Blitz 3.6 -36 (3ton 2x4 version), so the wheelbase should be 3600mm. Measuring the wheelbase (2 models on both sides) it's about 64mm (plus a bit longer), which equals 6584mm (without the "bit"), so we are very close. Anyone has the warlords blitz wheelbase for comparison?
