Pete you could demo a sidewalk brick on the floor and still make it sound AMAZING

I just picked up the Lillian on Monday and haven't stopped playing through it. Phasing is my favorite modulation effect, and as you demonstrate here, there's just no end to the warm and lush sound variations you can get with it. It's my first Walrus Audio pedal, and I'm really impressed with it.

Greetings Pete. The key to the 6 stage setting is that is what the old Maestro phase shifter was... i.e., a 6 stage phase shifter. The old phase 90 and most other phase shifters back in the 1970s were 4 stage phasers. If you want to get the sound of the first four Rush albums or some of the phase shifting sounds used by Led Zeppelin... you need a 6 stage phaser. John Paul Jones used a Maestro phase shifter on the fender keyboard for No Quarter. I think Page used an MXR Phase 90 on the guitar though... The Isley Brothers used a Maestro on guitar on Whose that Lady... 6 stage phasers have a more wobbly, undulating quality to them. That's why I'm getting one of these. It has the advantage of having more versatility than 3 settings like the Maestro. I expect it to show up this coming Tuesday! 2112 baby! In the End... Lakeside Park... etc. The phase shifter in my Boss GT-100 just can't do it.

So 2 years later and I've eventually admitted to myself that my Whirlwind Orange Box (and every other Phase 90 I've tried) just doesn't do what I want it to, my flanger doesn't quite do what I want it to, hate chorus, hate cyclical wooshing sounds but want an occasional bit of movement in the sound. Ordered one of these based on this review, and it's bloody awesome straight out of the box. Sometimes it just takes a while!

Walrus continues to find its way into my delay/modulation territory but not gain stages yet... but that may be that I haven’t had the opportunity to try their offerings. In sum, they’re taking over the world.

Boy oh boy, if I were still playing, this would replace my old Ibanez FL9 Flanger it has the warble I wanted that I internally tweaked for years to get the old pedal to do...without the jenky on/off switch---fantastic demo, Pete!

I know I'm 3 months late. But that track was tonegasm. Its weird probably. But when a demo is great. I start dancing to the track. You made me dance! I really want to get this pedal. (Based on various demos) Phase, Flange and Chorus are my favourite modulation pedals. And this seems to be the Phaser to get!

Hey Pete, I bought a Mexican Tele from a pawn shop in North Myrtle Beach and it didn't have a scratch on it. It was absolutely brand new. White, with a maple fretboard for $300. It played very well, but I spent a couple of hours on it and got it to play like a dream with the intonation almost perfect. My teacher couldn't believe how well it played. And by the way, my teacher has opened for some big names and actually did a gig with Zakk. I'm so lucky to have him as a teacher. Love ya, man ,

@@PeteThorn Cool. You need to make a video about how you make your signatures. How to come to understand the sound, how to create pickups to understand what to say to the master. How to understand what I want to hear in guitar amps. I'm sorry from Russia and I do not know English. But still, I am happy to watch even streams. Thank you for your creativity.

it's way daker. more univibe-style than a phase90.
