I love the quote - it's not negative at all. Expectations ruin good things too. If you expect something to happen it takes away from the wonder of the event. Like a hug - an unexpected hug is so much better than an expected one! About the journals - the combination of the Seafarer Blue and the Poppy Pink is amazing. Love them each, but also together!

The Seafarer blue!! I’ve worked at a lighthouse during the summer for about 6 years. I’m a teacher the rest of the year but lighthouses have my heart. They are a huge part of my life!! I want to be a lighthouse keeper when I retire 😂
