Thanks so much! Love that you demoed the Tape Saturation with the gain down low so we can hear what it does without going overboard with the distortion. Great job and GREAT drumming!

Hey, thanks for watching! We're glad you're into how it sounds! It's got that really classy smooth character at low gain setting and turns into an absolute saturating monster when it's cranked!

Nice sound! I'm thinking of great parallel bus uses with this :) Thanks for the demo and great playing :)

We could not agree more! This is such a versatile unit and we've been having a lot of fun with it!

Sounds great ngl but real tape saturation is way different and better, this is more like a distortion or saturation coming from circuits.

Love the drumming and drum sound especially with tape saturation only listening on a little phone and sounds great

That snare sounded really good... With tape saturation on and off. This thing is punchy with a lot of air, so snare drums seem attracted to it, I think if you are using old school Beatles miking techniques, you would want to muffle the snare some. But this really has a Ringo Beatles esque sound.

Hey Christian, Thanks for watching and for the great observations! Drums are really punchy through these units, and depending on the style you're going for, muffling could serve you very well!

Hi. So the Tape Saturation works more or less like an Overdriven Tube Amp? Thanks
@StudiosparesTV Жыл бұрын
In the sense that the more you push in to it the more it distorts then yes!

Jivey, miss you from the good old Pro Tools Expert Podcast when there were four of you guys on the table every single week. I wouldn't miss a single episode back then. Now the whole thing is just meh. Regarding this preamp, sounds good. Might have to try it for myself. Good job.
@seangorena2586 Жыл бұрын
can you just use this as a saturator instead of using the preamp?
@StudiosparesTV Жыл бұрын
You cant! But after spending time with this unit I can say with confedence you would absolutely want to use it as a pre as well as a saturator! It sounds nothing short of incredible!
