Awesome series it's very helpful and as someone who has never built a costume before these videos are incredibly helpful by showing a visual demonstration step by step. I would also like to put in a request for an episode on how to build a helmet from scratch. As someone who doesn't have the money to buy a helmet, my only real option is to make one myself. I've spent hours trying to find tutorials on how to build one and they have all been very vague and confusing on what exactly you're supposed to do. I understand sizing, cutting, painting, weathering, and attaching the armor to a vest but the only thing I can understand is how to build a helmet. If you could possibly find the time to make a video on this and demonstrate how to build a helmet step by step that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and consideration.

A helmet tutorial has been the most requested tutorial to date. I'm going to start working on one, little by little, and will hopefully have something to upload within the next couple months.

Thank you for the great Video! I'd love and appreciate it if you could do a video on making helmets; especially attaching the cheek bone pieces to the rest of the helmet.

I've had this suggested multiple times, and would LOVE to do an episode on building a helmet using cardstock and resin. However, I'm holding out until I get some better video hard-ware to do that type of episode properly.

I just stained mine with latex, it was like 12 bucks at menards. Minwax wood stain, water based, clear so they can mix it. FYI

What is used to record these? Video and audio quality is so low :(

The gain on my headphone mic was a bit high, which I didn't catch until after everything was filmed. That's on my pre-check list of things to check for future episodes, so hopefully it won't be a problem again. The video is the best I can do currently, but I'm working on getting a better camera, so bare with me on that. - Mandalore

That's good to hear! I think most smartphones will give better quality nowadays so maybe use that? :)

A smartphone would be a bit too cumbersome for filming one of these, I actually tried that to see if it would work. I launch a Patreon page today to help fund these episodes as well as a "Master Class" series, and the first item to fund is an HD camera. :)
