One thing i can say from experience is: when you warm up before games and start playing, you play decent and after that, you become warmer and better. then the more you play, you start losing composure and end up playing worse cuz your brain is going autopilot mode.

The best way to warm up play one or two ranks above you, so look for a champ or grand champ and play with them tournement, causal or rank, after a few matches you should get better and have a nice "warmup", at me it helped I was playing in gc as a Diamond, I was playing then with a gc in Diamond, but he was only back for clears and saves the rest I did, so Diamond 3 to Champ 1, I was able to carry all games more then a half solo, since Champ 2-3 there I struggled and had to play in team back then :D So what I wanna say you learn out of that, and rank up. Too let your Replay analyize by a GC-SSL , they see mistakes you wouldn't have recognize if you watch many High Level Gameplay ;)

I often do find myself doing better playing cold in multiple different games like Cod, Pubg, RL, etc . If you're half decent at the game, it's mostly muscle memory so I think when it's fresh in your mind, that's when you do best and you kinda "wear those muscles down" after so long causing u to get worse and worse over time

Not to be negative but I feel like warming up in casual before ranked really helps game sense and that was not tested. Also they were doing freestyles which is more muscle memory and kinda just depends on how much you practice the freestyles. It would have been a better test for them to also test how fast they could do a training pack that was more basic mechanics because when you warm up your basic mechanics become very consistent. Although the 2v2 was a good test because as you can see the cold players made more mistakes even though some of them were obviously better than their hot counterparts. Overall I think the hot players were nervous because they thought they were supposed to win and also they might have been tired after looking at a TV all day. Also some of the players may not have warmed up very well and so it was not as beneficial as it could have been.

Look at it this way. You do a small warmup before a race. Then you race. After that, you are exhausted. The people playing well over 2 hours before that were burnt out, not just warmed up.
@itsdemonz98143 жыл бұрын
My first games on are usually my best because i play extra extra cautious. Not challenging unless absolutely needed. Once im warm i start going for wall shots, ceiling shots, and redirects i cant even hit on my best days lol. I like to think its part of my improvement learning mechanics regardless if i win or lose.

I think the best part about this idea is the fact that one person would say “I’ve been training hard for this!” And the other guy would say “I have done nothing to prepare.”

You should take 2 SSL’s and tell one you’ll give him money for each win he gets, and the other that you’ll give him money for each lose he gets. So one tries to throw while the other try hards. However, if the throwing SSL gets caught throwing, then he doesn’t win the cash prize

Awesome video, doesn't test your concept out at all though. You should have the same players try these challenges cold, warmed up (a few games played), and then really warmed up (playing for hours). Comparing different players trying things cold and warmed up, just tests if that cold players vs a different warm player is better. Doesn't answer the question of whether warming up has an impact on performance. fun video!
