Hi. I'm using this solenoid for an anchor winch in my boat but there are two things I wonder about. The terminal "A" in the drawing, should it be connected to the - on the battery? (there is only two cables to the motor, and if I got this correct the solenoid will switch + and - on the F1 and F2 to make the motor go both ways, right?). Another thing is the in/out terminals. Should the be fed + in order to activate the solenoid? Thx in advance!

The black cable is the negative battery or positif

I hear a lot about this solenoid, but have not yet heard the model of ??? Its hard to go to the store and just ask for an Albright solenoid, they ask you more Questions then that.

Isn't that more properly called a "contactor" instead of a solenoid? Is that contactor refered to as a "reversing contactor"? Just curious. Thanks.

First time winch guy here! So sorry for the inexperienced questions. I just bout a jeep with the Warn 8274 on it and there was no solenoids on it. Is there any way to hook a ground and positive to make sure it works before I order one of these from gigglepin? If so can you please tell me step by step how to do it? Thank you, Bret
