Warner Leisure Hotels ~ Heythrop Park Oxfordshire

Warner Leisure Hotels kindly invited Cruise Addicted to stay at their newest flagship hotel, Heythrop Park.
Set in 440 acres of beautiful Oxfordshire countryside, this hotel is a haven for golfers with a par 72 championship golf course beautifully redesigned in 2009.
The hotel offers an array of activities including archery, rifle shooting, laser clay shooting and bicycle hire (£8 per hour for bike hire). There is also a spa with treatment rooms, swimming pool and jacuzzis and a studio for dance fitness classes too.
This video features a superior room, "Longview" MH415 which is one of the 13 superior rooms in the Manor House section of the hotel, with the more modern section of the hotel accommodating single rooms, standard twins and deluxe rooms. All rooms are beautifully styled.
Based on a half board basis, the hotel offers three dining rooms. The Travelling Duke Pub (excuse my error, I say Travelling Man in the video), for all your pub classic meals, The market Kitchen, which is buffet and table service with themed nights and Brasserie 32, which is your fine dining option, plus you can book afternoon tea here at £45 per couple for that special treat or celebration.
Evening entertainment is held in the South wing atThe Theatre and the Late Lounge. Our stay was a Festival tribute weekend and we had acts such as Re-Take That, Essentially Elton, Destiny's Michelle as Whitney Houston and True Gold - Spandau Ballet Tribute. All performances were great and high energy.
The main reason we were invited to this accommodation is because, the set up in the hotel, does make it feel like you are on a cruise ship and Warner Leisure wanted us to compare! Taking away the obvious that it's not a ship and you are not sailing, funnily enough, this hotel did have quite a few similarities in the hospitality and event set up. One great selling point for this hotel, for me, is that it would make the perfect pre cruise or post cruise stay, just two hours from Southampton and right to the heart of Oxford and the Cotswolds, the perfect location for overseas visitors.
This was a hotel that I would really never have considered, but I am happy to say that its a venue that I would happily return to again.

Sorry if you don’t like, Miles but yes we were invited to visit by Warners. Their contention is that their holidays are like ‘a cruise on land’ so we thought it worth visiting to see if we agree. As you can see when spent time enjoying ourselves and also creating content so that others can decide if they would like to visit. We were not actually paid anything and everything you see ifs what we experienced. That’s kind of what KZbin is all about, no?
