Also, I don’t know if you even seen the movie or not, but it absolutely did show his relationship with his mother, precisely why he and Priscilla divorced. It showed Elvis cheating on her, his drugs, his detachment to Priscilla (as stated by her, if you’re really that slow to not catch on). It also showed how he got hooked on drugs while on tour for the very first time. Notice that pill his friend gives him? Lol.. Of course you didn’t, because you probably didn’t even see the movie.

I graduated from LSU on the Louisiana Hayride stage in Shreveport Louisiana in 1980. In the early 50s they placed a bronze medallion in the center of the stage so Elvis would know where to stand. It's still there.

I'll have to admit that, at first, when watching the trailers for "ELVIS," I thought that Austin Butler looked nothing like him, but, seeing the recreated segments of the '68 Comeback Special' and 'Aloha from Hawaii' convinced me that Baz Luhrmann found the perfect way to capture the 'spirit' of Presley, and Austin Butler personifies it to perfection! Not so much with Tom Hank's 'Tom Parker' portrayal, though.

I just saw the movie heard so much about it . I got to say I was not disappointed I Loved It !. The Young man did a fabulous job . I've always been big fan of Elvis seen a lot of movies about his life but this movie showed another world and side of his life. The movie was both great but sad. He was so famous but yet so unhappy and lost. What a sad life he lived. When they showed the footage of the real Elvis It made me cry to think all he went through and all those people who just abused him in one way or another. I hope he gets the Oscar for his performance because he Deserves It !!! 🥰

He was the first, forging a path for others to follow in his wake. Elvis, Red West, Bill Black and Scotty Moore had to as Elvis said "learn it all" on the road of the 1950s No one had done anything musically or touring like Elvis did between 1954-1955, making his name through the southern states and with radio air play. I must say, I am angry sometimes with Elvis, for not getting himself together, physically. Why did they let people get chemicals to him after the Aloha Concert. After that global performance he should have started cleaning himself up. If he had he could still be alive today with Jerry Shilling, they could have both grown old together.

Disturbing, the other story told about Elvis. If it was meant to stay with you, it did! Acting excellent both Tom Hanks and Austin Butler. Watching his climb to fame and other incidences that occurred. Elvis was lonely, but when he was on stage noone could ever have imagined him as just human. That kind of fame can break a man! This movie was touching and well done. Really makes you sad for Elvis.
