yeah that could be interesting but i did a bit of googling and i found out that the Valak is something completely different to what they portrayed in The Conjuring universe movies. The Valak is a demonic entity that is believed in by many, however the only resemblance of it to the movie version, is the name itself you can search it up on Wikipedia

The nun haunts me in my sleep even after 9 months whenever I look at a cloak hanging from the hanger I see the nun. Truly the most haunted movie.

I respect your opinion, personally think Valak is alot scarier than Jason, Freddy and plenties of others. They failed to even give me any fright, let alone nightmares. But Valak the demon nun never failed, she both scared me, and gave me a nightmare that was so scary, I wrote it down afterwards, to read on Halloween. 😅😊

3:25 imo is where they made their biggest mistake visually. Valak was so much creepier with the white pale face in the Conjuring 2. Humanizing her skin tone took away from that haunting factor for me. Bring back the pale look please!

The whole idea is brilliant. The contradiction of what supposedly is a pious figure that turns out to be evil is just terrifying. It's a similar concept to let's say a religious figure who practices black magic, which has been done for other movies in different cultures/religions.

Honestly, the nun is not really scary like the other conjuring universe movies. However, Valak is the only character who makes me curious about its story. I hope they add more about it in The Nun II. Can't wait to see. Like it. :)

What I didn’t like about The Nun is how it focused too much on Valak’s scary appearance, rather than the actual story quality. It’s as if the filmmakers prioritized how much they could shock the audience with her face/a jump scare, rather than with a gripping story. She was a mysterious figure in The Conjuring 2 but became too commercialized for The Nun. Don’t get me wrong; she’s a terrifying horror figure for sure. Just wish they had used her character in a more preserved, effective way. They were too blunt with the scares. Hopefully The Nun 2 will be better ❤

I saw it with my wife at the Cinema. The horror scenes made me laugh until one scene when I had a heart attack. I laughed but felt a hand fall over my head, that gave me an attack in my kidneys. Only to realize my wife had a Jumpscare and hit me with her hands in shock at the horror scene.
