Seeing a lot of trailers nowadays, especially the one for the third Conjuring film recently, really makes me appreciate ones like this. This is how to make a trailer. Simple, effective and gives almost nothing away. Perfection. I hate when trailers basically show the whole movie. Mike Fox You think it looks cheap because it's not a conventional (see: safe) text reveal, when in fact it adds a whole layer of class to the trailer, separating it from the typical annual possession movie fare. If some 'media student' was to do this on a piece of commissioned work, I'd give them a raise based on their horror knowledge alone. It fits the trailer perfectly. And no, you didn't get the homage. If you did you wouldn't say it looks amateur, it's Kubrick for god's sake. He is a film legend. As soon as I saw the text scrolling I got goosebumps; it's downright iconic.

They broke the cliche`s of "Scary things that happen only to children and adults can't see them" by continuing the scary scene even after the child cries for help. i don;t know what to say. Me and my friends where in great disappointment that we could not watch the movie in 3D but in the middle of the movie we realised that it was good not to have a 3D facility. seriously the movie and freaked scary nun "separated my soul out of my body". Its after effect is this much serious that i can't even go two the next room even in daytime and now i have hallucinations too. i'm so scared but I'm too happy that I did watched conjuring 2. it is more than our expectations. Great work. This is the only movie which I will never dare to watch alone. this is 1000 times violent and scary than the first part. this movie truely ranks first in the scary horror movies and it will last for "centuries". Great work James wan . I appreciate your efforts and the actors were outstanding.

I live in Enfield, London....... and my cousins live literally two streets away from Green Street. Last month it was one of my cousins birthday and we watched this, on the way back (stupidly) we decided to actually go on the street. We saw the house from the top of the road, But then we ran back to my cousins house. I think Valak & Bill Wilkins followed me home though, but anyways. *shrugs shoulders*
