CelticPred1997 Yup. Bitch. Yeah, you can say whatever you want about a trailer. However if you post critic, expect others to give critisism about that aswell. One could disagree with you. That's how things work and discussions usually start. Note discussions, not arguments. Besides, my critic is that you see so little of these 2 characters in here that I don't see how one could give valid judgement about how their character could be in the movie. Trailers are not for judging. Trailers are made to attract people to go and watch the movie because marketing. In the end, the trailer can be spectacular and the movie can be shit. That happens quite often these days anyway. But whatever man, give it a negative attitude and just hate on the characters with so little information. If that flows your boat, just do it. I prefer to keep open minded until the movie is released as I can't tell how any of these people are going to act their character.

Like I said a couple of times, I doubt you can take such a judgement out of the lack of information about the entire movie. Exaggerated example, but trailers are nothing more then commercials. I never, ever judge a movie by it's trailers. They tell what it's about, what type of story you can expect. But already hating on certain characters who appear a total of 5 seconds in the screen seems like prejudgement to me. However, as your argumentation is basically based on marking errors in what I say instead of proving your own point in the first comment, I would like to know what makes you think these characters make you doubt besides the 2 sentences you've written in the first comment. "So, because you don't see it, it's not there?" really made me curious.

CelticPred1997 1. No I didn't. 2. You haven't made an argument. Also my point. 3. No. You're comparing a trailer literally to a commercial you see on the TV. The goal of both of them is to attract an audience in order to create awareness of the certain product. It doesn't matter if it's a coca cola bottle or a movie. And this pretty much defines a commercial. A regular TV commercial can make all kinds of fuzz like a coca cola truck appearing etc. True, but a trailer can pick which ever scene they want from the movie and stick it together. Because big parts are missing, one can easily misunderstand parts of it. Now in this specific trailer, I think they kinda keep the joker in the background as this mysterious person without revealing much about his character to keep it a little bit of a secret. If there are more trailers to come, I think they keep it this way so more people go and see the movie because the new joker got lots of critic. Therefore it's an open book for now which causes even critics to go the cinema in order to see the movie anyway before they can give a valid judgement about the new joker. But that's just some of my thoughts based on a marketing perspective. 4. No true but your opinion leans more towards the negative attitude for the lack of information given. Could I've started my critic about your opinion in another way? Yeah sure I could, but I'm glad I got your attention this way. Imagine you're with a group of friends and you got this flyer for a party. It only shows a picture of a previous simular party and a little bit of information about the date etc. 4 out of the 5 friends are excited about the party, even tho they don't know if it's good or not yet. The last one has a negative attidude about the party and thinks it will disappoint them. All of them lack information about what is going to happen, yet some are optimistic which nobody can blame them because optimistic people are fun to be around, and the other is pessimistic. Guess which of the 5 is annoying the others and spoiling the fun. Nobody likes the sad guy. 5. I didn't expect you to explain it actually from the moment I asked you to. You just pretty much confirm what I thought about your opinion and what I've been saying all the time. You write an entire novel of 1000 words about how what I say is wrong, yet you are not "interesed in explaining your opinion". Well played.

She is better than the joker in my opinion because of the way she was unpredictable and not solely focused on chaos or justice she was the best of both worlds wrapped into a perfect character.

The Joker's assault in Arkham is there in this trailer, which leads to him torturing Harley. It's all scattered in the trailer starting with the maniacs shooting all over the place, he's seen walking behind. Then stroking Harley's face while she's strapped down. Tortured her to the extent where she gets to the point of madness in liking it. So sad. Can't wait 2016!
