This trailer saved me from a bad mushroom trip because I was getting scared from exiting reality and realized that having fun, following your heart and be in company of loved ones keeps me here and grounded, and all I have to do is enjoy the ride. When I heard that Greta Gerwing (from LadyBird and Little Women) was going to direct and write a barbie movie I was a bit weirded out. She didn't seen like a director who would only do it for the paycheck, then this trailer opens up with Barbie saying ''Has everyone thinking about dying''. Thats when I saw this movie was going to be interesting.

There's nothing wrong with being upset about the Little Mermaid being changed. And if you don't know why people are upset then you haven't been paying attention. It's nothing to do with race, but more the fact that everything has to change now, but only one way because if we changed a traditionally black character to a white one then a whole race of people would be called racist. If you're doing it one way then you have you have do it the other way.

Yeah it could be PMSing but I’m actually crying!!!!!!!!!! Mama Cassie’s song hits me really hard too. Not to mention: Barbie has an existential crisis. Sooooo relatable in so many levels! Us girls are raised and somewhat groomed to act and talk and walk and sit and think a certain way, and most of us don’t even get to stop and contemplate things for what they are. This movie will turn out to be one hundred percent a modern classic. Greta strikes again!

i am so unbelievably excited for this movie omfg. from the set designs, costumes, how barbie moves & the textures !!!! They’ve really put their effort into this film & their research and it shows. I saw somebody point out how she floats down from her house is just like the way you play with barbie and I can’t stop thinking about even that small detail 🥲 I will be there on release day and I’m so excited for the album. I think this movie is a smart way to represent how Barbie is slowly dying in the real world and that is causing the Barbie in the Barbie world to become self aware and come to the real world and bring back the much needed fun and sweet positivity that Barbie stands for in order to prevent Mattel from killing her and her world due to dropping sales. This will be a 2 way self awareness movie for both humans to not lose the "fun" element of life and for the Barbies that they have to evolve past just being fun and have more character depth to continue making an impact in the modern world. This is the plot according to me. If so, Very smart concept! Will boost barbie sales. Will definitely watch!

@@frc_sc9114 you can see the effects of fallen angels, they try pumping humans with intrusive thoughts - one example could be "I'm a woman trapped in a man's body", and these poor people are pumping themselves with hormones and mutilating body parts to try and make themselves into the other gender. I mean before modern medical science, what did these people even do? Although to be honest, most of it is to do with how the countries and governments are run and different media has different agendas.

I saw this movie in cinemas alone without any friends bcoz most of my frnds don't like Barbie and those who were interested in it was not able to understand as it was only available in english. Even there were mixed reviews about this movie. Still I watched it and you know what it was awesome ❤, it was about Barbie and it was about ken . It really showed basic things revolving around Barbies how we use to play , how it made us a little confident, how it made us little depressed etc . I think everyone should watch it not only girls bcoz it includes story about ken too.
