The subconscious is a very powerful thing. The darker tones and art styles that DC uses in Batman gives it an air of uncanny darkness to the stories.

The character needs to be established 1st and then you can start adding secondary characters if you want in subsequent movies. That's like character development 101. If this is not gonna be a batman movie they should call it for what it is. "Batman & Catwoman" or like the trailer suggests "the bat and the cat".

And I'm fine with secondary characters having a cameo here and there in the 1st movie. But just cameos not a significant part of the runtime. As I said the character needs to be well established 1st and it's the 1st movie with this version of batman.

This movie has the potential to overcome The Dark Knight.. or at least match up, because we will see something never seen in Batman movies before, this movie will go deep into Batman's psychology, we will finally see Batman's detective side being greatly explored, the noir mood, Police Investigation, the plot.. reminds me a lot of David Fincher, it has a Seven I won't even talk about the Soundtrack, composed by a great composer named Michael Giacchino, for those who don't know, he who composed the soundtrack for No Way Home, The Incredibles and Planet Of The Apes.

Even though the storylines of Christopher Nolan's films were excellent, the fight choreography was terrible. Snyder's BvS, on the other hand, had a decent narrative and exciting action sequences. Now comes Matt Reeves' one, which seems to have included the greatest elements of each of their works. I'm anticipating it with the same joy and excitement as I had for Spiderman: No way home.
