As a child, I was 13 or 14 and I took the bus alone to the big city. There was a music store where you could listen to the CDs. I didn't have the money to buy the CDs, but as a student I could take the bus for free drive. I went there a lot just to listen to Meteora, then one day I finally had enough money to finally buy the CD. Music shapes my mind to this day.

I discovered them in 2006, I was 12 and a half.. Meteora was their most recent album: I remember downloading from Emule the Numb video with the bullied girl and it broke my heart with sadness, and then I remember my very first video watched here on youtube, it was the video of In the end.. And then I remember when Minutes to Midnight launched with What I've done, the video of it I saw on MTV.. That era in our life is no more, but with tears of nostalgia in my eyes I smile because it happened :)

Started listening to them a few years ago, because I was still listening to the favorites from back in the 70's - 90's. One of the songs that I listen to often that is not on this album is "One More Light". That song hits a chord deep inside my heart and soul. I have created a playlist with that song on it for the IW hikes I participate in. Mental health is important to all and more so to some. Never be afraid to speak up and talk to someone about what is bothering your mental health.
