I remember my dad calling me from Prison saying that Metallica came and preformed an they had Rob from Suicidal on bass. This was a while before st anger dropped so I thought he was full of shit. You cant see him in the video but in the some kind of monster doc you can see him clear as day a few times chillin near Kirk. This absolutely blew my 11yr old mind lol. Dont have many stories about my pops so this was definitely a highlight. Kindof sad to say but it is what it is. RIP Dad.

Hey, I know St Anger as an album gets mercilessly ripped to pieces but this song still stands up. 2003 was a strange time, and Metallica were just trying to fit in, while at the same time trying not to fall apart. They have a long and varied career. Imo the period between 1991 and 2003 --Black Album, Load/Reload, S&M, and St. Anger was their creative zenith.
