Former cricket commentator Henry Blofeld recounted when legendary cricketer Shane Warne introduced him to ‘Jager Bombs’, which resulted in the English commentator enjoying the cocktail perhaps a little too much.
“A good deal of wine was drunk first,” Mr Blofeld told Sky News host Caleb Bond.
“I rather liked these Jager Bombs, and I drank three…or four of them.
“They told me the next day that Warnie and Graeme Swan had put me to bed.
“But I never felt a thing.”
