I have an entire home filled with antiques inherited from family. Our home has the best karma. When folks walk in/thru- this is the first thing they comment on- “the flow of the home feels so warm and inviting- esp with all the beautiful antiques. (They) love the energy of it all.” It’s a large home. I never feel afraid to be alone. I feel very loved by this home.

@JoieManatad I believe you might be onto something there. Many of these items were from my mom and GrandMotherInLaw. My mom was my best friend and most ardent supporter. She was a mentor to many, with a heart of gold. I always use to joke, my GrandMIL was Grand indeed. My MIL passed away a week after our wedding, so in essence, my GrandMIL filled that role. She was the kindest, most caring and supportive MIL anyone could have wished for. Perhaps their presence is still with me, or perhaps their energy still lingers amongst their gifts. Giving money is not only a blessing to the receiver, it is also a blessing to the giver. When your actions are done with good intentions, why would you reap negativity? Why would your gift be tainted with bad luck?

Isn't that giving others power over me, making me a victim? I am convinced that my interpretation of and my intention for my action judges me. Which is why when I give anyone anything, I check how I feel. And that my intention is to help, willingly and joyfully. A little "trick" I do is pray over whatever I give away, that it blesses both receiver and giver according to what each deserves. Including this comment, of course! Not every one can afford brand new items so i think as long as you pray over the items and ask the lord to remove any evil or negative intention or attachment that may be attached to the item or items , and to rebuke any malice or negative words spoken over items and ask it to be removed in the mighty name of Jesus followed by an Amen then that protects you against any evil attachment weather intentiinaly or unintentionally towards you if still projects you.. its ridiculous to think we certain gifts can't be accepted when we just simply don't have any idea. It's almost the same exact concept as those of us who pray over our food when some one else prepares it for us other than our selves . i mean but we still go on and eat the food anyways . We have no idea what kind of malice intentions are sent out to who ever or when ever for no reason other than the person sending is probably just sinister. That's why we should pray over any thing and every thing in our lives no matter if it was gifted, thrifted, used,, passed down, or even brand new.

Regarding knives/blades; I believe some Native American culture dictates that if you give a friend a knife, you must also give them a coin, because the blade by itself will sever your friendship. The coin provides an energetic shield, protecting your connection from the destructive energy that radiates naturally from blades.

So, we shouldn't accept sharp objects, empty purses and I assumed handbags too. No matter how poor you are, you shouldn't buy clothing from a charity shop, watches and clocks too!! So we have to be mindful when accepting presents. No one gives broken items. Cash is given wholeheartedly 🙏. So, no more presents from anybody . What shall we give then? Do we unwrap gifts infront of the givers and then refused!!

I disagree with broken items. I find so much beauty in old items that are chipped, cracked etc. I see character of long life in those items and they do still have purpose if only in making me smile. If I pick them up and they make me feel good how can that be negative? I love them and believe they love me back.

This is not crazy. The only one thing I disagree with this video is giving and accepting money. In our New Year, we always give money in red envelope which means you wished the receiver luck and healthy If you don’t believe about the mirror, you can try to break it inside the house and leave the broken mirrors or dressing glassware and continue to observe what will happen to your life after that.

After reading this it made me wonder, forgive me i dont mean to b rude but i believe this to b more superstitious. I always put some money in the wallet ive bought to gift dear ones only with the thought that the wallet is always full of money for that person giving them abundance! Ive always gifted family members or friends for weddings or birthdays to help them buy what they need instead of gifting them with something they dont need or like. Worn clothing can b cleansed and purified with salt, im always donating practically new clothes, shoes etc. to the needy!!!! Once as a kid idid gift my mum with a knife but then i was only 11 yrs old. Our bond never faded!!!! So it does boil down to superstition. Thank u anyway.
