RCSparks Studio I actually was gonna get a new bright for the body because I needed a slight basher body (so I don't scrape my nice one) for my scx10ii, then realised it is more expensive to get the new bright that just buying a new lexan THAT I CAN PAINT HOW I LIKE all around I think new brights suck especially with their price tag

Probably bacause it is not meant for competition ot something where a hobby grade car is needed. They are for children, so they must not be dangerous and and also they have to be slow and not complicated. They have to be simple to be given as a present. The father goes to Walmart and take one for the kid He does not have to know how to connect lipos and high power esc.

Toy grade rc suck now. I had all of these from the 90s, tyco fast traxx, hammer, twin turbo valvoline, lamborghi or tonka xrc pro speed. These were so much fun as a kid

I had the fastraxx, super fastraxx it was 1:10 scale, eleminator which was the fastest truck tyco had ever made, hammer, riptide the boat they made, the Kodak stock car, aero buggy and a few others 😂 great times, awesome memories!

New bright sucks. I used to work for Radioshack, and when they signed a contract with NB and started carrying their Rc cars, we constantly had Rc cars get returned. Then eventually people stopped buying them due to Radioshack refusing to return products unless you could prove it was defective.

New Bright is Walmart junk, and always has been. I bought my daughter a New Bright P/T Cruiser for Christmas 15 years ago, that was about the size of that truck. To her, at the time, it was HUGE. She destroyed it in less than a week. I found the same thing at an after Christmas sale a couple weeks later for a lot less. I bought it. I still have it, in brand new condition, sitting on my dresser. I never really drove it, I bought it mostly to look at.

I had a New Bright Hopper buggy a couple years ago, total waste of a 100 bucks! Two miles an hour on a full charge. It ran on the 12.8v lithium battery with a 540 size motor. For a motor that size, you need a higher capacity battery, at least 2000mah.

I am sorry that you think $80 is a lot for that but its not considering a real RC truck hobby grade would run you easily well over$300 . if you really want to buy a nice hobby grade truck,get the Dromida series ones. They run about the same price as that at 1/10th scale but they fly! are fun ass hell and are true RC.

Now if you wanted something cool to do you could take the bobcat pro and the two screws holding the motor on undue them then unplug the motor and with this truck unscrew the 2 screws and unplug it and just swap them. You can do an extra thing and swap the receiver boxes to so you can use the bobcat pistol grip controller I thought of this and did it with my bobcat pro and my 1:8 new bright mustang so I can run the pro style controller and 12.8v power getting speeds of 10-13mph

Guys don't buy this even though its a rc for kids, Just buy your kid a Wltoys L343 or if you kid is a hardcore pronto buy them one of the A9's, They are way cheaper than thus one and has better quality, L343 is 20-30$ A9's are 50-60$ The B versions are 70$ Buttttt if you have many money I recommend Traxxas slash 2wd for kids and adult beginners and best part is very durable.....Seriously there so much Rc cars that is for kids and beginners that us cheaper and has higher quality than this one, No im not really an expert but that doesnt mean that I cant Identify a good truck or a bad one.......I would get one so my

It's a NewBright what do you expect for $80 my Servo's cost more than that. Pull the body off and resell it you should be able to recoupe most of your money. Besides it actually did not bad for a NewBright, made is across the grass and such.
