Finally a balanced view about IF! Thank you for sharing from your experience and it is very true that IF sometimes can have more negative effects than positive. With (intermittent) fasting you really have to know how to listen to your body to get only the positive effects. And in the non-fasted states, the food should be nutritionally dense, great quality and in amounts that take into account the length of the fast. If the diet is not up to par, the (intermittent) fasting will be more detrimental than beneficial.

2nd 😁 So good to hear this perspective on IF. I tried in the past to push through my limits and only ended up feeling queasy and binging. Now combining IF with carnivore, it comes so naturally without much struggle. Takes away the physical hunger, leaving me to deal with only the psychological craving.

Seems like a balanced approach and kind of the mentality that I have regarding IF. I agree that people get very attracted and attached to the extremes to their own detriment.

This is what i wanted to hear. IF could be good or bad. It`s hard to leave it and it could be addicted. i`ve done it combinig with a vegan diet OMAD and training, i ended up too skinny, malnourished. Now i do 16/8 flexible keto diet, it`s great but sometimes not enough because i feel without energy when doing skateboarding, i say myself i need breakfast but something whisper me of sticking the diet. Thanks for the video and great job!

Yeah, IF has never really clicked for me. It makes me so tired. Had the thyroid test and that was okay. I also never clicked with Nutrition with Judy. She forces it so much and blames gut health and coffee and who knows what else. She also claims that adrenal fatigue is not a thing. But really, IF just puts me on edge and distracts me from my work. Good topic Danny! And yes, like you said, let's be open minded and listen to our bodies!!!!
