How much did you start with
@Gingerlata Жыл бұрын
@@jonathans6476 I trade with a 30k account. Which is what I started with. I have played with paper trading for a long time though until I got comfortable.
@Gingerlata Жыл бұрын
@@jonathans6476 I also did it with a good cushion behind the 30k and I have about 10 years into my career. So if the trading did not work out I would have something to fall back on.

I agree, even 6-12 months of consistency is not enough imo. for a person to consider this as job , they need to prove profitable in both bull and bear markets , high and low volatility times. if market conditions determines your salary, then you are screwed :)

It is better to have two or three jobs, also for yourself. You're really not interacting with people when u trade. Having that back up job is also more money to invest. You're 110% correct. Thanks again for all the great info

You should make a video on wash sales since you trade sqqq and tqqq and how it effects your bottom line when it’s tax time

That would be very helpful. I don’t think he’s ever made a video on that subject

This is 100000% true!!! Thank you for sharing this to help a lot of ppl. In my case I do real estate and it helps to allow me to allocate time for trading and clients. But even 9-5 can allow this. Especially because it takes years to get to a point where you can be comfortable to do trading full time with a larger account. This is one of my fav videos anyone has posted about trading/life/working

Great great psychology video. I would add, never have open positions while you're working at another job. Be able to open and close positions withing your trading session, it's a must.

It is very logical to collect onschain from the bottom price and sell it after 6-12 months, the price will increase every two weeks.

added more to sqqq yesterday before market open because I had indicators suggesting it but they became island indicators not valid once the bulls took over so went negative but didnt sell because of the indicators so took biggest loss at end of the day. Always use stops and trade for another day

My day job gets in the way of trading. We can't have cellphones out on the work floor. I don't trade everyday, but I can't open or close positions timely, quickly, or do extra research like I can at home. This happens on days where I know there is price level, moving average, or economy data to react. Currently I have a target price of my portfolio to hit before quitting the day job.

Well I quit my day job. I was working as a cardiology technician and I literally had no free time to do anything. My job was not only 7a - 4pm it was every other weekend I was on call from Friday 4pm and off call to start my shift at 7a on Monday. To offset that I am in school full time for software engineering. So to do all three there was literally not enough time in the day. My trading is actually paying for my school right now. But my skill in dier need and if I need money I could have a job within the hour. Quitting my day job to go to school to further my career to have time to trade also is a good trade off. My situation may be different, I understand.

if you have to trade "full time" then you are not doing it right... the trade should be distilled that you can forget about it and let it trade itself. It all just maths... so stay in skool kids.
