Warning For Those Who Just Read Quran | Mohammad AlNaqwi | Khutba

۞كِتٰبٌ اَنۡزَلۡنٰهُ اِلَيۡكَ مُبٰرَكٌ لِّيَدَّبَّرُوۡۤا اٰيٰتِهٖ وَلِيَتَذَكَّرَ اُولُوا الۡاَلۡبَابِ
[This is] a blessed Book which We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], that they might reflect upon its verses and that those of understanding would be reminded.[Surah Sad 38:29]
ذٰلِكَ الْكِتٰبُ لَا رَيْبَ ۛ فِيْهِ ۛ ھُدًى لِّلْمُتَّقِيْنَ ۞
This is the Book about which there is no doubt, a guidance for those conscious of Allah -[Surah Baqarah 2:2]
مَاۤ اَنۡزَلۡـنَا عَلَيۡكَ الۡـقُرۡاٰنَ لِتَشۡقٰٓى ۞
We did not reveal the Quran to you, to cause you any hardship. [Surah Taha 20:2]
يٰۤـاَيُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا لَا تَاۡكُلُوا الرِّبٰٓوا اَضۡعَافًا مُّضٰعَفَةً ‌ ۖ وَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تُفۡلِحُوۡنَ‌ۚ ۞
O you who have believed, do not consume usury, doubled and multiplied, but fear Allah that you may be successful.[Surah Ale Imran 3:130]
يٰۤـاَيُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا لَا تَاۡكُلُوۡۤا اَمۡوَالَـكُمۡ بَيۡنَكُمۡ بِالۡبَاطِلِ اِلَّاۤ اَنۡ تَكُوۡنَ تِجَارَةً عَنۡ تَرَاضٍ مِّنۡكُمۡ‌ ۚ وَلَا تَقۡتُلُوۡۤا اَنۡـفُسَكُمۡ‌ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ كَانَ بِكُمۡ رَحِيۡمًا ۞
O you who have believed, do not consume one another's wealth unjustly but only [in lawful] business by mutual consent. And do not kill yourselves [or one another]. Indeed, Allah is to you ever Merciful.[Surah Nisa 4:29]
يٰۤـاَيُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوا اذۡكُرُوۡا نِعۡمَتَ اللّٰهِ عَلَيۡكُمۡ اِذۡ هَمَّ قَوۡمٌ اَنۡ يَّبۡسُطُوۡۤا اِلَيۡكُمۡ اَيۡدِيَهُمۡ فَكَفَّ اَيۡدِيَهُمۡ عَنۡكُمۡ‌ۚ وَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ‌ ؕ وَعَلَى اللّٰهِ فَلۡيَتَوَكَّلِ الۡمُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ ۞
O you who have believed, remember the favour of Allah upon you when a people determined to extend their hands [in aggression] against you, but He withheld their hands from you; and fear Allah. And upon Allah let the believers rely upon. [Surah Maidah 5:11]
يٰۤـاَيُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ وَكُوۡنُوۡا مَعَ الصّٰدِقِيۡنَ ۞
O you who have believed, fear Allah and be with those who are truthful.[Surah Tauba 9:119]
يٰۤاَيُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا لَا يَسۡخَرۡ قَوۡمٌ مِّنۡ قَوۡمٍ عَسٰٓى اَنۡ يَّكُوۡنُوۡا خَيۡرًا مِّنۡهُمۡ وَلَا نِسَآءٌ مِّنۡ نِّسَآءٍ عَسٰٓى اَنۡ يَّكُنَّ خَيۡرًا مِّنۡهُنَّ‌ۚ وَلَا تَلۡمِزُوۡۤا اَنۡفُسَكُمۡ وَلَا تَنَابَزُوۡا بِالۡاَلۡقَابِ‌ؕ بِئۡسَ الِاسۡمُ الۡفُسُوۡقُ بَعۡدَ الۡاِيۡمَانِ‌ ۚ وَمَنۡ لَّمۡ يَتُبۡ فَاُولٰٓئِكَ هُمُ الظّٰلِمُوۡنَ ۞
O you who have believed, let not a people ridicule [another] people; perhaps they may be better than them, nor let women ridicule [other] women; perhaps they may be better than them. And do not insult one another and do not call each other by [offensive] nicknames. Wretched is the name of disobedience after [one's] faith. And whoever does not repent - then it is those who are the wrongdoers.[Surah Hujurat 49:11]

Honestly when I started understanding quran, one ayat took one day to analyse, understand, appreciate, feel happy that i got a chance to read and understand it and cry sometimes.. Knowing how much love Allah has for us... And he chose me to read and understand quran..

Reading the arabic Quran with the English translation has intrigued me to such an extent that it's hard to put away. No matter how many times I read there is something new to learn every time... Wallahi. Reflecting upon the verses is like a never ending miraculous journey. This is truly the message of perfection. The poetry is beyond beautiful. Once we understand the verses it just leaves one in awe. Allah hu Akbar.

I was one of those Sheikh mentioned a year ago, just read the Arabic text of Quran as much as possible. Less than a year ago i started reading translation for every ayah i read from Quran, Alhamdulillah that changed my life. Alhamdulillah, that even lead to me to join a course few weeks back to learn Arabic language and now doing Duroosullugha Al Arabiyya and Duroosu Swarf, Bid’nillah. Please make dua to make it easy and increase my knowledge and benefit from it. May Allah unite all of us in Jannathul Firdous, ameen ya rabb.🤲🏻

رَبَّنَا ظَلَمْنَآ اَنْفُسَنَا وَإِنْ لَمْ تَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَتَرْحَمْنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخٰسِرِينَ اے ہمارے رب! ہم نے اپنا بڑا نقصان کیا اور اگر تو ہماری مغفرت نہ کرے گا اور ہم پر رحم نہ کرے گا تو واقعی ہم نقصان پانے والوں میں سے ہو جائیں گے۔ Our Lord! اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي عَبْدُكَ، ابْنُ عَبْـدِكَ، ابْنُ أَمَتِـكَ، نَاصِيَتِي بِيَدِكَ، مَاضٍ فِيَّ حُكْمُكَ، عَدْلٌ فِيَّ قَضَاؤُكَ، أَسْأَلُكَ بِكُلِّ اسْمٍ هُوَ لَكَ، سَمَّيْتَ بِهِ نَفْسَكَ، أَوْ أَنْزَلْتَهُ فِي كِتَابِكَ، أَوْ عَلَّمْتَهُ أَحَداً مِنْ خَلْقِـكَ، أَوِ اسْتَأْثَرْتَ بِهِ فِي عِلْمِ الغَيْبِ عِنْـدَكَ، أَنْ تَجْعَلَ القُرْآنَ رَبِيعَ قَلْبِي، وَنُورَ صَدْرِي، وجَلَاءَ حُزْنِي وذَهَابَ هَمِّي Ya Allah, I am Your slave and the son of Your male slave and the son of your female slave. My forehead is in Your Hand (i.e. You have control over me). Your Judgment upon me is assured and Your Decree concerning me is just. I ask You by every Name that You have named Yourself with, revealed in Your Book, taught any one of Your creation or kept unto Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen that is with You, to make the Qur'an the spring of my heart, and the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness and the reliever of my distress.
