If you have vinyl siding, the corner pieces which are hollow, are a freeway for rodents to get to your attic. Plug it with spray foam reinforced with wire mesh.

Cantilever decks always leak. All it takes is one crack in the top of a deck joist. On this one, with sistered joists, it’s going to run right down the seam of the joist. Tear the deck boards off and cover the joists with bitchathane.

In my province in the Philippines, the noise being made in the ceiling is not from rats but a teenage monitor lizard 😅 good thing the birds allerted me of it in the open, had to run quick and patch the hole of the ceiling from outside Its hard to maintain balance, so pests like rats wont go rampant.

What if it is not the sewer? Watching all your great videos. But in UK we have these clay pantiles and felt membrane. Rats chewed in felt. So I have to redo whole new roof with zinc sheet under tiles? £20,000 at least. Never heard of such a thing. And I worked in a grain store, so I know what trouble they go to with zinc sheet etc.
