I've been upgrading the mystical monument slowly. I'm certainly not rushing it or wasting anything on it that I want to keep. Another way to get your resources coming in quickly is maybe try controlling at least a few of the resource bases on your map. I control all the resource bases on my map at all times, even though I've been maxed for a while. Need me those tribe upgrades for main base gameplay.

Not only does it require a builder to upgrade, but also no non maxed out player is going to waste resources to upgrade a statue that barely boosts anything. And it costs tens of millions of resources just to upgrade it to even get to the bonuses.

I know I’m the minority here but I like it, I had NOTHING to spend my loot on, nothing, this gives me something to do on the main base. The boosts are not good but I look at it like free boosts, now no way I would spend real money to do this, ever. So it will take me many, many weeks to get it to 300 and I’m ok with that.

The problem with trying to get your loot back is, you’re gonna get too high in medals, meaning, you will constantly bey raided by others. Another Boom KZbinr said a while ago actually, not to get too high in medals as it’s Not worth it.

Been playing the game since early 2016. Started a second account as once I maxed out there didn't seem much else to do. Almost maxed out my 2nd account after almost 3 years. Just 2 critter cannons to go. Then they bring out some stupid mystical monument with a nuts 300 levels to it. Last thing I wanted to see after 3 years of upgrading.

One this video came up on my feed 11 hours after you posted. The monument to me is just a way to waste resources but I have 1 account maxed so it doesn't matter and my second account is almost maxed. With that in mind the only reason I would do that monument is to see if I can max it out with out using the reasorce boat or classified items, so far it's working.

Imagine if you wouldn't get any bonuses for upgrading it at all. When I started to upgrade it I had a message - so many upgrades left to get a guaranteed bonus. Guaranteed! Then I get zero upgrades left message, then -1, -2. Now I have -3 upgrades left before I get guaranteed! bonus. So you are lucky that at least you got some bonuses for it. Because it could be nothing at all, just a statue with no bonuses. So I figured it is actually not guaranteed that you get a bonus for upgrading it.

300 is the highest you can go for "visible change". Will it eventually go higher than 300, and if yes, is there a limit to how high the level can go?

I'm guessing no, you can't go higher than 300 as I noticed at the end of the video that it was completed at level 300, and there wasn't an upgrade arrow on it.

Hmmm, well, that's dumb. Maybe the Dev's will spend another 5 minutes to make some new monuments, and allow it to increase further. After all, it's only a Rifleman on the monument. It would be nice to see it progress to more advanced units as the level increases.

Worst update from Boom Beach especially being a 10 year anniversary update. The 6hr wait on chests suck, and with 3hr statue boost times. They should have upgraded the radar to discover the rest of the map. Put bases out there that take some higher players make strategic attacks. No smokey warriors or smokey zookas.
