Amen he is telling the truth! I know this! It happened to me when I could not look at his face and I felt his hands and how much he loves me. I have never been the same! He took my anxiety from me and all my worries were gone forever and I was so in love with Gods children also. The tongues I spoke were like none I have never heard also. Its been 4 years and I have had constant joy and blessings. My marriage has been blessed and we are like honeymooners again! My family is all thriving in love and life! Praise the Lord. The Holy Spirit, I've discovered, speaks to us in a way we'll understand. Kind of the way we speak, ourselves, sometimes. One time, I was meditating on the Scripture, about "...drawing nigh unto Him and He will draw nigh unto us..." And the Holy Spirit explained it this way: "It's not like you even have to go half way and then the Lord meets you in the middle!" I recognized the fire being lit in me while he was worshipping. I began to cry and pray in tongues after listening. I prayed in I recognized the fire being lit in me while he was worshipping. I began to cry and pray in tongues after listening. I prayed in tongues for the first time about 20 years ago. Now, I didn’t intend to pray in tongues at the time. I had actually just prayed for Jesus to help me love him and to help the Bible students around me to love him as well. I surrendered what I wasn’t sure was right in my life( something I thought might be wrong but wasn’t sure), and God’s response was the same as it was when the father rushed to the prodigal son; it was the same as when Elijah put a sacrifice on the alter and God sent fire from heaven; God responded to my surrender that day in the same way he responded to the New Testament church who had gathered together in the upper room despite the danger it was to possibly be found together. I felt what felt like a wind rush through the rafters of the sanctuary and fall on me. Didn’t feel this wind physically, but my spirit felt it. It was still so tangible though I knew it wasn’t something physical I felt; it was Spirit. After it fell on me, I began speaking in tongues. The best way I know how to explain it is that the Bible says,” Out of the heart the mouth speaks.” My heart was so filled with love in that moment of being immersed in the Holy Ghost that I began to speak in tongues, because my heart was so full and there were no English words to describe what I was feeling. I had never known love and peace like that before. It was the most wonderful experience of my life, even more wonderful somehow than becoming a mother. It is that moment I point to as the moment I was personally born again. I think most babies cry when they are born, and still some don’t. Some get spanked to encourage them to take in that first breath. About a couple of weeks ago, I ran across a music video where several people were praying in tongues in the background. I had also been encouraged to increase my physical endurance by speaking in tongues, and I needed more endurance. So, I prayed with these people praying in tongues on this music video while driving home from work. It was such a blessing, that arrived at home just soaked in tears. Sometimes, I now pray in tongues both to and from work. At first it was difficult to have the endurance to even make the effort to pray in tongues for that long, since I didn’t understand what I was saying. However, God has been teaching me to act, when I feel love move in my heart, because that is him. When I have what I call “ a cameo moment” with someone, I recognize that as Jesus putting that person in my heart to pray for them and do what I can to encourage them. You see, Love is not just a feeling; Love is the person of Jesus being aloud to move in us and through us. I recalled how the Bible describes tongues as our spirit praying. There are things in this new spirit I was given when I was born again that just need expressed and poured out before God and there is no English words or understanding I have of those emotions at times. I just love God and need to express it. So, in faith, I began to just pour my heart out to him in tongues, knowing he understand my spirit even if I don’t understand what I’m saying. Hearing my spirit and my heart poured out to him is something he wants. Sometimes, I sounded serious, but as I have continued it mostly sounds like I’m just loving on God in tongues. I think we are designed this way, and that it is why people want to kiss. There is a yearning to share your heart with another, and I do think it is possible to confuse your need to share your heart with another through kissing with your need to worship God through tongues. When I feel the need to pour my heart out and my husband isn’t around to talk to or kiss, I pour my heart out to God through tongues. He hears my heart and he understands. It’s like I need to cry to him and just be give love and be loved through prayer. It actually helps me conquer lust. tongues for the first time about 20 years ago. David Wilkerson (and his team) helped a lot of drug addicts and street people get off and stay off drugs. Those people said when asked, that's what helped the most was the Baptism in the Spirit. I was at church one day and they said if you want the baptism of the Spirit come up here. I did and I caught the Spirit and was moved to say Father God, over and over. Tongues was another story, it was like I got everything in stages. I pray everyday in tongues and in my native language too. I could not heal or progress or anything if I did not do this. It is transforming. Keep asking for it and seeking the Baptism and all the gifts!

This happened to me. For years since my teens, I’d been involved in the occult. When I started getting my own places to live eerie prescences seemed to manifest there. And I turned down one place. My mother called a minister and they did a ritual and it all went. But I’ll never forget the prescence of God there, the feeling of Him cleansing my home was unbelievable, I was converted forever. I’ve never messed with the occult since, that was a different kind of feeling altogether, not the kind of feeling that is of God. I don’t know where I’d have been otherwise.Hallelujah.
