This has been true a LONG time. They did not call it "Chads" but "being popular". I went to high school in the late 1980's to early 1990's, way before online dating, the internet was barely a thing and there were no think pieces out about any of this. And even back then, like five guys dated every good looking woman in our class. They literally just switched girls back and forth while everyone else got rejected. There were about five girls (in my memory) that every guy thought were "10's" back then in my class, like very, very pretty and no lie, one guy in our class dated all five of them in four years of High School. He was an alright guy and actually it was kind of a thing we joked about. But girls have always been like this. The few outliers were guys who had GF's but they went to other schools and therefore the women were probably unaware of their popularity, or lack of it. I would like to add something from my experience: Things change if you get older than 30 and if you take good care of yourself (and get a bit lucky). In my 20s I was the perfect normie, without realising it but things make a lot of sense in a retro perspective. I saw this video in a commentary video and I just wanted to drop my two cents in as a woman. I'm entirely aware not many people will like my opinion or will want to strongly believe otherwise, but I see several very large flaws in the "black, red, blue pill" ideology. If you disagree, I would be more than happy to hear you out but this does come from a place of genuine concern for all the people who follow this sort of mindset. First things first- human beings are not numbers. This whole number rating chart only uplifts the men and women who are conventionally attractive mostly in the terms of extreme western beauty standards. It'll only amplify one's insecurity. It's shallow and harmful. As cliché as this may sound, it's definitely true- you are so much more than your appearance. You are so much more than a number. Realizing this can help you change for the best and embrace who you are. Confidence is one of the most attractive things a person can have, regardless of looks. Many famous people who are well loved for their unique looks don't fit the conventional ideal of attractiveness. Taking that into consideration, it'll make you realize that people don't all find the same things attractive. Not all women want very masculine men with incredibly toned bodies and sharp jawlines. Many want men who are slender, or have dad-bods, facial hair, no facial hair, tall, short, you name it. The only reality-warping idea is that all women and men want the same type of man/woman that fits onto the conventionally attractive scale. All of this being said, beauty standards are toxic. They're toxic to me, they're toxic to you. They don't benefit either of us. Please, never ever compare yourself to other people especially the whole "Chad" type of man because that's just unrealistic and honest to god, not many women really want that sort of man in the real world. It is true that many people have unrealistic standards of beauty and what someone should look like that make you feel bad about yourself, make sure you aren't doing the exact same thing to people in your dating pool. Though pessimistic, there are many truths to what you say in your videos. Life is no fairytale, there isn't always a happy ending. Now that I'm out of dating though, I have never been more satisfied with myself.

Thanks for this scientific analysis. Now I get it after being puzzled for decades. Great looks are the only thing that counts. The top 5% of men just send a few texts and they can line up a date whenever they feel like it.
