Like, people my age are saying, “It was better in the 80s, it was a great time to grow up!” Are you bonkers, Kevin? We were neglected, alone and wearing terrible fashions, and you basically were stuck with radio music and tv shows. A little over a year ago, we had to help move some friends (a husband and wife) out of a house that they were renting from the husband's dad. The dad is Grade D, bottom shelf, grocery store knockoff POS in all kinds of ways. That house was friggin awful when our friends moved into it because the dad and step-mom were literal hoarders and our friends were having to move their sh*t out of there and into storage just so they could move in. The dad and step-mom didn't do jack all to move themselves out. So I helped my friends empty the place, clean it, paint it, put together new furniture that they ordered when it came in. They installed curtain rods, put in child safety locks to prevent their young kids from getting into cabinets, fixed up the janky bath tubs, put in new cabinet/drawer knobs, a new toilet seat in one bathroom, etc. The place was nice. So when the dad started a bunch of BS and kicked them out, do you know what all of us in our friends' immediate friend group did? We got petty. Real frickin petty. We took all the lightbulbs because our friends bought them. We took the toilet seat that they replaced, took the shower heads that they replaced, took all the child locks off except one or two so there would be some drawers that didn't open. We took all the new handles off the cabinets and drawers, and after getting permission from the mom who had bought the OLD cabinet/drawer knobs but had left them there after the divorce, I took THOSE off too and brought them home with me. I also got down on the floor, pulled out the bottom drawer in the floor cabinets next to the stove, and reached down into the far corner of the floor cabinets in order to unplug the stove. Then I put the drawer back so that the dad would have to stoop to his class level in order to get the stove back up and running again. Oh yeah, we also had to take a door completely off the hinges in order to get some very large pieces of furniture out of one room and we just left the door off of the hinges when we were done. We were an entire frickin crew of Petty Pals just working to quietly screw with this man's head for all the sh*t he had done.

Ok so true story….I live in South Africa….notorious for break ins. When there’s a noise, I get up, call my German Shepherd to the door, make him exit the bedroom first, then close the door so my husband doesn’t wake up…we’ll stand there for at least 10 minutes until I’m sure the noise was probably the cats being cats, before going back to bed. We’ve been married 27 years now. Sadly my GSD was put down yesterday due to leukemia. HE was my protector. Now, I might need to explore other alternatives.

Trying to figure out what hubby is for...decoration? I'm very sorry you've lost your best friend and protector. In Sth Korea, women living alone in apartments etc. put men's shoes out near front door mat, and randomly put men's clothes on their lines on the balcony. So decorations on show, to put off more sinister men. Which illustrates, it's men that are the real issue...sadly.

If you want to be petty find the closest bill board to their house, and pay to have an image of him posted on it with a caption, "I am a dine and dasher, and my mommy had to bail me out when I was caught" for a few months. Heck chances are they had done this before, so you could get together with other victims to pay for it.

As far as the vermin thing, Hubby and I have a deal: I absolutely am TERRIFIED of spiders - just...terrified. He does not like snakes. So -- any house spiders - actually any critter in the house with more than 4 legs - he takes care of. Any snakes near the house (if they're in the garden, then they're doing what they're supposed to do), I take care of them - usually by removing them and putting them in the garden. It works for us. We are all entitled to our irrational fears. But otherwise, house noises? That's his job!

@@M_SCIf it isn’t interfering with daily activities (or enough to make you attack your SO with a lit candle… yikes) then. dunno if it would be worth it. Like, my daughter hates spiders but if no one else is there she can deal with one if she has to. And she doesn’t mind little ones webbing in a corner because they eat little bugs we can’t see. So I could see just having a trade-off instead. My husband hates crickets, but he can handle one if needed. However, if I see one I’ll try and get it so he doesn’t have to. But yeah, if it’s become something crippling, better to get help. Can’t argue with that. Or if you’re just tired of feeling afraid.

Actually same for us! Bugs in the house are a hell naw from me (I don't mind them outside as long as they don't land on me). Rodents/ snakes? I got it- been there, done that before. Random noises in the house would be a bit of a toss-up. If we were legitimately worried someone broke in, I wouldn't want anyone to check. Pack some protection but otherwise sit tight and call the cops (or go out via other means, but not towards the noise). Usually if one is actually worried, the other checks. @@vanessaandreatta9098 I also have a petty senior prank! All the seniors bring in the old fashioned alarm clocks. Set them for 5 mins after seniors are done for the year, and lock all the lockers! IT'S SOOO LOUD!!! 🤣 (🤫you didn't hear it from me) IDK how old your daughter is but she could buy a ton of clocks online & sell them to her classmates for a mark-up after they decide this will be the senior prank! 🤷🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️) Again, it's not like anything REALLY happened btwn Mike & I! Enjoy!😘 btw, i already love you and your daughter! (Meant in the LEAST CREEPY WAY a stranger on the internet can tell a woman they've never met, that she loves both her and her daughter!) Petty-On, PRINCESS 👸🏼 PETTY 👑

@@AliceNsWonderland every year, on the 1st of April, I do the same prank and offer coffee full of salt to my mum...since I was 10 years old. And... You can imagine ahahah. My point was to make her gave up caffeine cause she had too much...but we all enjoyed the prank each time lol

Last woman should pay for the damages she caused on the man’s car. She thinks it’s so cute to vandalize the property of a man she herself admitted was not exclusively dating her. Criminal behavior deserves criminal consequences.

Agreed. That's just unhinged.

Even if they were exclusive she still shouldn't destroy his belongings but honestly it was gummy bears. WASH YOUR CAR!!!!!! He claims it was bad about putting the gummy bears on his car, why would you whine about it. Seriously just wash your car. Though as a woman I can say even at 17 she seemed unhinged for acting like that without even knowing what was going on.

It damaged the car's paint job. It required more than washing the car, it required dropping money for paint. He can whine about it.
@albacovarrubias28932 ай бұрын
@@stephaniefarley1236 yeah, exclusive or not. Vandalism is still vandalism. Can’t wash gummy off once’s it’s been sitting on the paint to the point where it peels off said paint.

😂😂😂😂legit every thing in this house besides Some decorations, movies, and a singular coffee table belongs to me. I didn’t realize that until just now. If we ever split I’d have more than enough to furnish my new home. That being said I much prefer having him here than not. ❤

Gummy bear lady: you weren’t even really dating, so you had no right to be so petty. Not cool, sorry!
@AlKay382452 ай бұрын
There is a difference between being petty and being malicious, 17 is an age where you should realise damaging someone else's property is wrong. Turning your crime into a tiktok vid shows zero remorse or respect for the person who's property was damaged. If that was my vehicle there would be a charge.
