I was born in 1958 in Royal Oak MI the year after the Lions last won a championship. So it has been pretty much my fault the Lions have sucked my entire 66 years until now! Thanks Lions for making me a happyLions fan again!!! For decades the only Lions game I ever got to see as a non Detroit resident was the Thanksgiving day game. I even got to see that game when I lived in Australia but that was pretty much it. Now they are the game of the week my how times have changed!!

Brother, William Clay Ford bought the Lions the week I was born. So, literally, my entire life I have been waiting for this Lions team to get here. I love this, not so much for the bandwagon fans, but for people like us that have been through it. The Eddie Murray missed field goal. The pass that found Sterling Sharpe in the end zone. I gave up my season tickets after the many years of losing. When Ford Field opened we bought um and had season tickets from 2002 through the 2019 season. We sat in section 328 Row 9. In 2020 they wanted $140 per seat, and now after the price increase its $350 per ticket. That's a price increase of 150%. in 2020 you could sit near the 1st row in the lower bowl for those prices. Now I rather just watch the game at home, save my money and just get a few single game tickets. For christ sakes a 22 oz milkshake is $20. I experienced the 2008 0-16 season. There were times at the games when there were less then 10,000 fans, and the game would be blacked out on TV. So getting to experience this season is amazing.
