thing is GTA 6 is too big to fail, especially with RP being a thing, like rockstar would have to shutdown cfx and force every other type of rp based server to shutdown before hand in order for GTA 6 to go down bad, and obviously they arent going to do something like that

I just don’t wanna be rug pulled by RockStar like Bethesda did riding on the coattails of their past successes. Just look at Fallout and StarField 🤢 If they make GTA 6 $100…let’s be real. It’ll still sell…I want it to be worth mine and everyone else’s hard earned money

@@DurkkTV yo facts fr definitely want it to be worth the money but if you've seen the small things they've done to GTA 5 like removing trans jokes that's been in the game for years, I just dont feel all that confident in them showing the same level of humor in 6. On top of all that, yea investors are at blame for how the industry is rn, but it's also a thing with directors, leads, and even the lowest level of developers have these same ideologies as well. Look at most AAA studios, almost all of them have either completely gotten rid of legacy staff and teams, or almost gutted them out of it. Gamergate 2 had a big impact on games in 2024 and you can most def see the shift happening, don't know if you watch the tubers that cover this stuff, but just give it a few years and although it's not going to be like back in the hay day, studios are going to start valuing their player base and devs freedom for true creativity if they still want to have any space in the room.
