Lawn looks great! Found your channel last summer - you inspired me to renovate my shady lawn with tttf down here in Central TX. I took your advice with barenbrg RTF and added spf30 to see what would stick. Neighbors tell me it’s the nicest lawn in the hood (for now), but I’m worried for the Texas summer. Thanks for the pro tips, and keep the content rolling! I’ll be following 🤙

I am in North Texas as well looking to do this. You said you bought it locally, where did you purchase it from? TIA

I remember a video from so many years ago. You said the same thing. While I was watching, I was telling myself "I think this is the same guy I saw few years ago". Then I saw your house in the video, "Yeah, it is him" 😃 Great job brother! I converted my lawn from elite Kentucky Bluegrass to TTTF in 2020. I cannot be more happier. It doesn't look good as yours. It's because, I don't water it nor fertilize it. Only rain waters it but it's thriving. Next year, I must start fertilizing it. I must start taking care of it. Hehehe. What's your fertilizing regimen? Amazing lawn bro!

What month did you see those temperatures and humidity levels that indicated it’s time to put down preventative fungicides?

How did your lawn survive during July - September 2023? If I’m wrong, I apologize. However, I don’t recall seeing any videos during that time period.

I posted those months. Most of it survived even though we had over 100 days above 100 degrees

I'm located in Frisco and I seeded Rebels Tall Fescue seed (it's a blend) in an area that's a mix of shade and sun. It all looked amazing until summer rolled around. By the end of August 95% of it was completely dead. I'm considering seeding Titan Rx but it looks like I would have to buy a 50 lb bag. I only need like 15-20 lbs.. Not sure what I'm doing to do this fall.

I'm in Dallas what brand should I buy?

Locally, you can pick up Titan Rx from Justin Seed in Justin TX just North of Dallas. Or you can get GCI turf type tall fescue online

Man I need your help/advice! I’m in Southern California and my RTF is starting to look sad. The color has faded a lot from its fall/winter color.

Terrible grass in Midwest . My turf tall fescue is not even 3monts old and fungus got it already two times really badly! Even BioAdvance didn’t help as I thought So much hate towards KbG because it like so much water but at this point I don’t know what is advantage of having tall fescue. This fungus problem is a BIG THING ! People should know this as first fact about it

Prop and Azoxy are both systemic upward uptake and need to be watered in . They are not contact uptake.

There are several studies that show that these fungicides can move throughout the plant when applied with a surfactant. I usually let the product sit on the grass a few hours before watering in. I usually water within 24 hours. My method works for me because I don't lose any grass to fungus anymore. So, I basically do both methods
