Ok so basically, The afton kids are somewhat chill before Elizabeth disobeys William and goes to CB. Michael and Evan witness her death and are obviously traumatised from this. At 0:33 Mike tries to attempt to "leave" too, but William stops him. The other kids are also concerned about Mike at 0:36. And he has a nightmare about drowning, probably due to the fact he saw his own sister's death. 0:42 Pete is a robot in your au and I think after Elizabeth's death, he somehow malfunctions because he was made to be a big brother. Here he hits Michael, and I think Mike obviously did not expect this and starts laughing (it's that one thing many people do when something goes horribly wrong). 0:50 here it mentions that Mike is lucky, is that what he's making himself believe? I don't know. At 0:52 it mentions Elizabeth's death by "tragedy". At 0:54, it specifically zooms into the crow, is it because crows symbolise death in some places? 0:56 we see Mike help with the nightmares. 0:58 he still has some sort of innocent hope. And from 1:00 we see that even in the past, Mike didn't have a good time as he was used by Elizabeth and obviously mistreated by his mother. Mike gets his arm broken by Pete probably while trying to defend Evan. Mike is also bullied at school. 1:03 the lyrics imply that death eventually becomes meaningless for him, as in he gets used to everyone dying. 1:06 again, his hope is shown by a past memory. 1:08 "that's what I've always believed" so he does believe that hope triumphs everything. 1:10 is obviously ironic, he's literally seeing his little brother die in front of him AND he's holding a 4 leaf clover, something that's supposed to be lucky. I think he USED to believe that he was lucky but obviously doesn't believe that anymore.

YOU DID GREAT🗣️🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Edit: okay also here’s my take on this Everyone was somewhat gangsta till Liz died (I say somewhat because Liz was obviously being a bit devious while she was alive.) Basically after Elizabeth died is when Foxybro started acting up and bullying the remaining two Afton kids. Now Mike didn’t really like that bs so he made a you know what attempt that was stopped by William. We can also see that Mike was bullied at school and then Mrs. Afton wasn’t too great of a parent so those could also be reasons why he did that. Also extra thing I noticed: Mike was being a W older brother and protecting Evan. At least until Foxybro broke his arm, I think he gave up after that happened
