@@TheDataWorkshop it was a long time ago now and was one of my first strategy games i played Lmao, looking back on it campaign wise, probably the grand scale and epic vistas, seeing hundreds of bombers going off and dropping their payloads in the monte casino mission for example, it was simple yet it had so many moving parts, i was too young to competitively play the multiplayer (didn't stop me from trying though XD) but idk I'm probably looking bac on it with rose tinted glasses. what about yourself? what's your favourite par of Ruse?

@@austinclark6451 I think RUSE is innovative, in that it's the first time we had seen a strategy game in that format. You've had games that mimiced board games in real time, and you've had real time strategy games, but you never had a single game that zoomed in both formats seamlessly. I think what I liked was also the scale, which for the time (and even now to some extent) was impressive. I also think there are a lot of little things the Eugen team that was great, the smoothness of the zoom-in was very good, also the unit AI was pretty good and you didn't have to baby sit everything as much as you would even in other Eugen titles like "Wargame". I think I liked a bunch of little things about RUSE, maybe i"ll make a video about it !
