Great video👍🏻 I've not stayed in warnscale bothy yet, but I've stayed in dubs hut a couple of times. When I did, it was only £3.50 for overnight parking, £15 is ridiculous.

Never pay for parking. If you do you are accepting that access to nature comes at a price. This is happening all across the country in addition to having areas closed off to us, eg Dartmoor.

Welcome to the channel Thomas. A Bothy is a mountain hut you can just turn up and stay the night in for free. They're also there to take a break from bad weather and have a coffee or a cuppa in. There's more in Scotland but we do have a few in England too

Have you ever actually temp tested vs time the difference with mugs covered with insulating bubble wrap and those not? It makes no difference unless you have a lid, and preferably that also wrapped... May as well save some weight and take the heat log😂

Firstly yes, we have tested it. Secondly, yes it does make a huge difference without a lid (why wouldn't it, as over 75% of the surface area is the sides and bottom?) And thirdly we have lids, with the same insulation, but it's a bit hard to drink with a lid on 🤣 and fourthly it weighs next to nothing (a few grams). We see absolutely no technical knowledge to your assumptions. We may go as far as to feature your comment on a video with some A/B testing for the benefit of other users. 👍

Dear Camp somewhere amazing. As you do! Gareth. Craig the you ever notice how jumping into a decent sleeping bag in the freezing cold in boxers and vest warms up the down super quick compared to jumping in in your tracksuit you had on. Example. Gareth Zoe I will get back to you in the last couple trips. I see them aiming to comment thank you's.
