Yeah based on muscle memory I would let her reload until exactly 12 and animation cancel to start shooting, I tried it now and muscle memory has her stopping at 9 bullets 💀💀

I only started playing ow2 two seasons ago and soon as i unlocked Ashe I mained her, hip fire dmg I can live with but the reload makes no sense at all… dva is in pretty much every lobby and she’s awful to deal with. Devs must only love certain characters and hate the rest 😭

IMO Ashe is oppressive because Mercy. Without Mercy, Ashe is not oppressive and is balanced fine. All hitscan heroes except Widow (doesn't need Mercy) have this problem, but Ashe currently is the best hitscan paired with Mercy. The reload changes really not needed nor wanted. Honestly, they ought to put a system in place for Mercy dmg boost. The lower damage per shot (high fire rate), they get the full 30% or close to. If shots already deal high damage that Mercy dmg boost would put it into full burst dmg per shot category, (Ashe, Junk, Hanzo, Widow etc) they get a lesser bonus from dmg boost. The higher the damage in one single shot/hit the less boost they get. Perhaps 15%. This way they don't have to keep changing the heroes like Ashe and Sojourn when they are only turned extremely oppressive thanks to Mercy. Then they can buff Mercy elsewhere. Maybe the movement, maybe the healing. Maybe she doesn't need teammate to GA, but GA CD is 2x if used without a teammate.

it increased the time taken to reload per bullet: before nerf it took 2.4 seconds to reload all 12 bullets, now it takes 3 seconds to reload all 12 bullets

Soldier is still a better pick over ash and always has been tbh, ash is even worse now with dive being the meta, so if anything the nerf is a slight hint that ashe has been an ez pick ez value hero and now you have to work for that value. Or pick a better hero like anyone else on the dps roster.
