np, i think b9 pioneered changing textures like that but you can also change textures by editing the .dds files found in each part folder. you just need nvidia dds utils and something like GIMP or photoshop to edit the textures.

thanks for your kind words. My pc is very a old overclocked i7. i am using a mod called UbioZur Welding Continued that welds part into a single unit thus making physics calculations easier. however it does not help with textures taking forever to load when you use this thing.

use the mod ubio welding continued, it helps with physics alot but in some situations i noticed it increases ship loading times for some reason, i think it s because i used the b9 parts which have multiple textures

Hey I have a special request, could you try and create the Frisbee Antimatter Starship, a beam core antimatter ship. (see www.projectrho.com/public_html/rocket/slowerlight.php#frisbee) it should be creatable with KSPI antimatter reactor connected to magnetic nozzle.

It doesn't have to 1:1 The main goal is that it can achieve the same goal, by the same means, which is to travel to the best habitable planet of a nearby star, and start a small colony using a beam core antimatter powered interstellar vessel. A 1:100 vessel (up to 5 km long) should be achievable in KSP, and add as many personal touches as you want. A great target for this vessel would be the TRAPPIST system, which in my view is the most likely candidate for a habitable planet. A large part of the mission will involve the logistics getting this ship ready for departure in the first place. Especially loading the Interstellar vessel with antimatter will be tricky because, for optimal mass ratio, the tanks must be configured for minimal mass, which means they can contain the antimatter only at low temperature at low gravity. You will have to put interstellar vessel with empty tanks at a orbit or Pluto before you can fuel it with antimatter. Alternatively, you first launch with temporary high-temperature resistant antimatter tank which you dispose of after reaching Plutos orbit.

i built a very early version but i have a major problem. to get that very long radiator i welded (using ubio welding continued) around 900 very large radiators to a structure. i managed to get a ship that is 2,6 long but when i try to launch it crashes...i can upload the vid
