theresa's guitar parts in this song are the worst I've ever heard. song would do better without guitar at all as a matter of fact.

Nope, the guitar part is quite tasteful and well thought out - in the mix however it sits horribly - too loud, panned badly, eq-ed without regard for the venue. Check out the Jools Hollander version, the mix there is much better. Also, with real instruments bands, bad sound engineering will have an impact on the performance too.

Her guitar parts are ok when composed but she can't improvise cause she doesn't know theory and just goes by what notes sound good together. nothing wrong but music theory is important to know where your fingers can go.
