===== About Spino =====
Spino is a carnivore, and is a 2-legged dinosaur. He is of the Spinosaurus species. That's all I have to say about his design.
Gameplay-wise... being mid-sized, he seems to be a balance of speed and power. Not the fastest and not the strongest. His movement is actually pretty fast, and he has a jumping lunge kick move as one of his basics which is very effective.
===== About Warpath: Jurassic Park =====
This is an impressive, well-built game for the PS1. The graphics are very good for the PS1 standards... I imagine this must have looked quite amazing for it's time. The dinosaur movement/strike animations are pretty spot-on for how real dinosaurs were supposed to "behave" and "act".
The gameplay itself is good as well, and is exactly what you would expect a dinosaur character to control and play like in a fighting game. As fighting game players we are all so used to controlling human being characters that suddenly being made to control a dinosaur may be a bit strange at first. Extras to the gameplay include being able to "eat" the small human being or mini-dinosaur characters to regain life.
One minor annoyance of this game is how easy it is to have your character not facing the opponent directly in-line and how much time it takes to "reset" back to direct facing... due to the type of throws, some moves and side steps in the game, it is common to have your character end up facing the wrong angle, which obviously means that your moves will miss the opponent, leaving you completely vulnerable as you recover. The worst thing about this is that sometimes you really cannot tell whether you're in-line or not. The CPU opponents (who of course, ALWAYS manages to face you correctly no matter what) exploits this to the max, which WILL annoy you.
The music is your typical "tense-horror-movie" orchestral type soundtrack, which suits this game perfectly.

Ironically, this game was released 4 years prior to Jurassic Park 3. The Spinosaurus was so different because at the time, it wasn't popular yet.

Most of the JP fans I've met have no idea this game existed. They didn't even know that Spinosaurus has been in JP franchise years before JP3

When you’re a kid everything is awesome then 15 years later when you grow up you realise how stupid a thing was, in this case I don’t even know why I forgot that game for years and then one day I just remember and come to see a gameplay 🤣

In 1915 reconstruction, or at least I think it is, they put Allosaurus skull on the Spinosaurus, which is why it looks like that

Take the fin off the Spino put it on the Sucho and you have the JP3 Spino

I wonder what the controls are like. I notice there are blocks which means there must be throws yes? Spinosaurus. I remember in the third Jurassic Park film it basically made the t-rex its beotch. Very upset by that as I suspect many others were as well. Thank goodness the franchise redeemed itself with their recent Jurassic World film.

Blocking is done via a Block button (I'm not a fan of Block/Guard buttons), and yes there are throws, which are done by pressing two attack buttons together.

Yeah. It probably is. A bit of a departure from other vids on the channel with an ordered demo of a set of moves but this game is hardly on par with others ;p Looked into an faq to look over the controls. The 'taunt' feature is an interesting one.
