WarPath Officer Placement & Pairing Matters (Leader vs. Aide), but not for the Reason You Think

In Lilith WarPath, everyone should know that the officer in the Leader position gives an HP and Firepower bonus to the troop and the aide position does not. But did you know that there is more to the Leader/Aide game mechanic than you think?
In this video I explain the key differences and why there might be some misinformation about officer skills and how they work from the leader or aide positions and how it might just change how you setup your army.

That is actually absolutely correct and I never noticed. I always followed reviews in English on YT, but today I took a time to read the description of the skills. In Portuguese, the translation for antonina states that if she is on an artillery troop, the 25% skill DMG bonus is granted, no mention to Wich position on that troop (lead or auxiliary) she must be in, only that in order to gain the bonus she must be on an artillery unit. Very well done, made me saw things from a different perspective after 2 years in this game

I'm curious how the learned skills play into this. If the aide trains the leader does it not offer a compounding effect? Therefore making the officer order somewhat important?

Possibly, but it would be difficult to test and confirm as players.

It does make a difference if you either use Antonina or Spanner as leader or not. I tested it myself. Guardian though can be used as second officer. It wont make a change

Does not make a difference. 2 officer's in the game rightnow matter. ToS and Flame. All others only reference the troop that needs to be used with the officer for the buff. I was thinking it matters on all of them for over a year but it does not.

@@qdenver9389 like i said, i was your oppinion with and a lot of people were. You not the only one that tested it.on what did you test it on? Support, VIP support and the devs are all saying it only matters on 2 officers for now. And i was in your camp about they are all clueleas. But if you tested it and have the conclusion that all leading x troop means they need to be 1. Officer. Go test it some more. Preferably do it on Flame since he has bouth included in his 1st skill. 1st part sais if leading an arty troop his skill hits 3 more unuts around the original target. That still happens if he is the 2nd comander. But the gmd bonus to the other comander is only if he is 1st officer.that s the part with "if serves as a leader".

Recomended MB Comander Pairing

There are a ton of options for that. Professor Pain, Valkyrie, Tip of Spear, War Machine.. most are decent or good. SImilar to helicopter pairings. Check out my Valkyrie video; it is pretty close to what can be done on an MB too.

So beserker can be leader and still get the bonuses of Antonia's first skill?

Antonina's skills increase her own skill damage, but not the other officers of the troop. This is different than say Eye of Providence whose awakened skill "Increases Skill Dmg dealt to Bases by 40% for all Officers in the Troop". Berserker Bear and Antonina both will work great in either slot, so whichever one is higher level for the Leader HP and Firepower bonuses; use that.

S26. Helicopters are extremely good when played correctly. Especially at 8.2+. They do require micro management and are hit and run and can be frustrating at times. Players love or hate then, I love them :>

You lose Flames leader specific traits so probably a bad combination

@@dx7gaming tip of spear has no offensive skills. You manly want flames skills popping off a lot for defense. But you could try it out I’m trying to find a video on it and can’t find anything
