So... to sum up the tests: the Arty by itself took 41 seconds. The first ATG test took 41 seconds. Then 36, then 27 seconds. So in the end the TH is doing what it needs to: counter the SH. As the damage logs prove: howitzers are high skill damage units because they have a higher maximum firepower. The actual rounds do not do as much damage as the skill, in a roughly 1:2 ratio for unit dmg vs skill damage. On ATG, this ratio is reversed because NORMAL shots do bonus vs vehicles AND the chance for penetration. Which is why Miller for reload speed is more valuable on ATG than lib howitzer, which already has a fast reload. You can see it in the damage logs: higher unit damage vs skill damage. I use Percy + Miller on my primary ATG, because of the +25% garrison damage pushes the base unit damage higher, which means stronger pen hits, and Miller makes it hit more often. One important point: 7.2 ATG compared to 7.2 Howi is a bit off... because right now, the vast majority (maybe all) 7.2 SH in the game can be penetrated by a 7.1 ATG attaining around 330mm armor penetration. So you can do roughly the same performance as in your video with a 7.1! And that makes a big difference for a lower power player. I have dual 7.1 ATG: one is at 2.0m firepower, the other is at 1.9m. This combined is more powerful than one 7.2 ATG, and your 7.2 with 10,600 more grade points has 2.29m--not a massive enough difference. Lastly: the declaration that "TH is better than ATG" needs to be proven, not just speculated. It doesn't make sense to me, because TH did not receive the buff ATG just did (+100% more vehicle damage), nor does it have the +30% pen bonus from the new artillery research tree. Maybe the new tank research helps it keep up, but ATG will always have a higher max firepower potential than the same investment TH--the tradeoff is mobility and durability. And to have a TH pen a 7.2 strong SH, you need 7.2 TH--you cannot get away with just a 7.1.

I recentlyish lost my best arty as I really wanted maxed lights last moscow so I've been working on atg to keep in base for defence i have maxed percy and maxed adder on it but mine is still only 7.1 but I feel the 2 arty was better martyers arty is maxed maxed 7.2 already but it was a mess up I shouldn't have used my lib arty

What server are you on in warpath I'm new to the game and I just relocated to server one having no idea what to do really if I could get some guidance in the game and some help every now and then it would be much appreciated
